Game Rules for Banglacricket BPL Fantasy League 2012

FIRST RULE OPENED TO ALL MEMBER JOINED BEFORE 29/01/2012

How to Play:

1- Choose 11 players from post number 1. You can have 4 different combination.
Playing cmbination.

a) 4 Batsmen, 3 All-rounder, 1 Wicket Keeper, 3 Bowler

b) 3 Batsmen, 4 All-rounder, 1 Wicket Keeper, 3 Bowler

c) 4 Batsmen, 2 All-rounder, 1 Wicket Keeper, 4 Bowler

d) 3 Batsmen, 3 All-rounder, 1 Wicket Keeper, 4 Bowler (just added it)

2- Maximum number of international player allowed is 4.


3- They are will be no transfer during the tournament. Once you choose your 11 players you are stuck with them till the end of the tournament.

4- No fielding points for fielders. But you must choose a keeper in your team who will score points for each catch plus stumping.

5- No restrictions on how many players from each team. e.g. if you wish you can choose 11 players from 1 team as long as they are on the list on post number 1.


6- Once you have finalised your team. Post it here and I will update it on my spreadsheet.

Scoring:

a) Batting point: 1 run = 1 point.
Batting Bonus points for scoring a fifty = 25, for hundred = 50, Every 6 will get you 5 points

e.g. if a player score 75 (5 x 6) he will score 75 (runs)+25 (for fifty)+25 (for 5 six) = 125

b)Bowling Point: 1 wkt = 30 point for each wicket. Bonus for 4 wkt haul = 20, 5 wkt haul = 50.

c) Wicket kepper will recieve 20 points for each catch and stumping. Dont get any ideas because you are allowed only one WK

d) MoM = 100.

Score Update:

Scores will be updated as often as possible.

Thats right

49 runs = 49 points, but if hit any six he will get 5 points for each Six

30 points for each wicket so 2 wickets will get you 2 x 30 = 60 points.

Scoring is straight forward because most of the work is done manually. If add S/R for Batsmen or economy rate for bowlers. I will spend night and days. Where as my system which I already used last year only takes 15-20 minutes or less to update after each day.

That's what Ash and our Razzak will do.. Ash will take wickets and Razzak will get runs.. oh wait Ash is considered as an alrounder here then why don't we put the alrounder tag on Razzak and Mash???

To simplify for MOC, he could consider giving bonus points to total runs scored or wickets taken per team. Top three per day gets 3, 2, and 1 points respectively. Or something like that.

Any player scoring runs will get points same goes to the wicket taker.
Only thing to note is only your choosen WK will score for every catch and stumping. If for instance another player from your team who is not listed as a WK keeps wicket then you will not get WK bonus.
