BIjoy was excellent Very calm and collected. More exposure is just going to make him better.
Take this with a pinch of salt. This is tamasha cricket. All fun fun entertainment. 50 overs or test is much different. Starting with the pitch, balls which allows to swing more, stakes = more pressure.

Out of all these SLA'er, i'm very impressed with Arafat Sunny from CTG kings. This guys have some variation unlike other SLA'ers. And his quick delivery is a KILLER

4-0-12-2 against Dhaka Gladiators is not a joke

True but that is what i suggested that, more exposure should only do good to him.

He started of slow but hey, its his first match in such a platform! Plus if he was not there in the lineup...wonder if Rajshahi would have even reached 100.

I know, but credit should be given where it is due.

You always start off from somewhere and build your path. No one knew of Ashwin before IPL began, which is also a 'tamasha cricket'. Now look at where he is today... he single-handedly took Harbhajan's place the team and is an integral part of the selection process these days.

All we should expect is that a bangladeshi Ashwin, Manoj Tiwary or Jaydev Unadkat appears out, whom we can groom in the future.

Forget about those names you mentioned, since this is the first televised BD domestic competition, I can now see how big of a coward the local players truly are.

The BPL also exposed how uncompetitive our domestice competition are (DPL NCL first class...). No wonder BD sucks in international matches. We can't even compete with international rejects in BPL.

WI has no shortage of talent.
Bravo, Gayle, DR Smith, Dwayne Bravo, Pollard, Russell. 8 games and six different MoM already.

Out of all the deshi players. Shabbir has been the best fielder imho. I'm NOT surprised, i knew he is one of the best fielder in the country along with Nasir. Fuuny thing is Shabbir started his U13/U15 career as a fielder

CI report says it all in a nutshell about BPL:
Quote:
Dhaka Gladiators needed three of their overseas pros to play explosive innings to outgun the marauding Chris Gayle. Imran Nazir made 58 off 35 balls, Azhar Mahmood 77 off 47 and Kieron Pollard 36 off 15 to lead the Gladiators to 208 for 5.

Bideshi players doing real good, on a positive note.

It is the wrong way to do. This sends all the wrong messages to the youngsters. Manoj Tiwary didn't need IPL, he was that good to begin with. We are weak in batting. So much so, that world class bowling attack would not win consistantly for this team. Batting is where teams seperate themselves from others. Ura-dhura bat chalano encourage korley polapain oi rokom player hobay. Which is the recipe of INCONSISTANT. Tamim has entered in to that trap. Ash can't get out of that trap. Bairer wide ball'o oder martey hobay. Hath nishpish koray!!

A board can not make good cricketers via Tamasha Cricket. Yes, they can spread the word, do marketing and encourage but this is not the format to learn how to play cricket. Longer version is where you learn how to have patience and reign your instinct and play for the team. That is what is needed for novice country like us.

Good day. Still unable to break into top 10 position in batting - of course they'll have to be given a bat to have the opportunity to score.

Doc, is there is any reason you missed highlighting #16 Shakib Al Hasan? He is the third highest point getter for your team Dur Shala.

Batting Average list korley up to date score'a Shakib is 7th. 2nd behind Riyad among BD players.
