Tamim and Shak are going to flop in this game. Mush and Riyad will top score with 30s. Shafi will get smacked by Kohli. Mash will have a great economy rate but zero wickets. Raj will take three wickets. Shahadat will get two but concede 75 runs. India will score 320 for the loss of 5 wickets and we'll be 250 all out.

The target is simple..
Get 99 runs in total so that SRT has no chance in making his 100th 100

MATCH ASSUMPTIONS :
If our batsmen do score on par with their ODI career averages we could post
Player ODI (round abt Avg)
Tamim 30
Nazimudin 15
Jahurul 30
Mushfiqur 30
Shakib 35
Mahmudullah 30
Nasir Hossain 38
Abdur Razzak 13
Mortaza 15
Shafiul 6
Shahadat 8
Average Match total 250
If they can play better than their career averages we can post exceptional scores. But our boys dont end up strategizing and visualizing 9/10 times

A good post. It shows what our batsmen can do and what they don't.

The way Dhoni batted last night it shows much he practiced even those yorkers or way outside offstamp balls to put in boudaries. BD bowlers and clueless coach have to lot of thinking, working to restrict them 300. And BD top oredr will never be able to chase 300 unless each of them target a century. Scring 30-40 runs can secure a place only in BD lineup, but never gonna win a match these days. Can Tamim, Nazim, Jaharul do it? They wont, even if given 20 times or even against Zimbo.

Come on BD!
Let's show kohli/Tendulkar/Gambhir/Raina/Dhoni and of course......NONE OTHER THAN SEHWAG....that we'll win this TIME!!!

To bat or to bowl first, that is the question India batting first could post a mammoth score which will automatically demotivate our players (which they seem to do if its 300+), but if we bat first India can easily chase our score considering our phast bowlers and their relative ease against spin.

We need 300 to be in with a fighting chance. Our spinners would be able to create enough pressure if we have a big score like that. Unless one of our bowlers spring a surprise, i don't see us restricting india to a toal below that of pakistan.
