I dont know why, but this bangladesh seems to be very solid. if only nafees had the form he had in his early part of his career, and lullah played the way he does against india, we could have a strong solid team, good batting, bowling and fielding.
Liked the way he did shezda. shows that he wants to thank allah not anyone else

Has there ever been a wicketkeeper who is not busy looking as a batsmen? Love it...you just know, they'll push for a quick single, or try to turn a single into a two. He likes an ugly slog or two, hopefully this is something that the national team management can work out of his system.
I also like the fact that, for once this isn't some prodigy, 1st class cricket since 2003 - he's had to do it the hard way, hopefully that means, he won't let this opportunity pass him by, and continues to work hard to improve his game.

The best thing is obviously his ability to play big shots and rotate the strike. If he gets going then he surely can make some good scores at very high s/r.

-Back up keeper (if needed)
- Good solid technique
-Can hit the ball hard
-And CAN ROTATE
Cons:
-Lack of Experience in List A games?
- Brian farts
overall, we need to give him 10+ match at least.
i liked him since the day i saw him

This one thing I noticed too about him, but overall I like his game since he played in England. If he can keep his head down and play positive he is set for the team. He also try to play some lofty shots over the fielders at the initial stages of his batting which need to stop. But as I said he is very good batsman for our 3rd position. No need to panic anymore unlike Ash or Sn there.

I don't recall watching him slog when he first came into the national team. Seemed to be more of a straight-bat player back then. So it might be a new element to his batting that he has added recently. Probably worked for him in the DPL, but understandably not in the BPL.

I have always backed him and wanted him at no 3. So I m really happy to see him back, always felt he never got a decent chance to prove himself.
wHAT I like the most about him is his ability to play Shots and most importantly ROTATE.( he also runs the first run really hard). Also, his run accumulation is almost always run a ball. Doesnt waste balls.
Another thing, I think he knows the value of playing in the National team and cementing his place, since he was dropped from the team before even though his performances werent that bad. So, I believe he will work really hard to keep his place in the team. So I can only see him improving from here, as he worked hard to get back in the team.
Also, about his over the top celebration on reaching his fifty, I think thats because he always used to get out in his forties, so to get over his "nerveous forties" is quite an achivement for him oin terms of mental relief. So, now since he has this self-belief instilled in him, I can see him playing longer innings.
Needs to work on his short-ball techniques a little more(like pulls and cuts), the brain farts, and his stamina
Oh well just my two cents.

Id like him to see him being an aggressor as that is what he is good in. If he can score an innings of 70+, then we can get into a good position
Raw but good cricket. However, playing intl cricket under coaches like law will do him really good. afterall, it is this stage in which good players like sakib become world class!!

I don't think he is good as an aggressor. He can put us on a solid foundation by playing steady. I have only seen him getting out in awful ways, whenever he tried to be an out an out aggressor.... He looked pretty bad as an aggressor, TBH.

One more good knock, and you will be set for long term.
Lack of Aggression lack of application of aggressiveness? These will all come when his position is set and there is few more games under his belt.
The good thing is he knows how to rotate and he knows how to take 1s and 2s and keep score moving.

Where do you see khochani? Relax.... take a deep breath before you react... there is no khochani here.
When he came first, he was not given enough chance and was dropped and then off-form out side the national team made it an off-topic for us.
This series he is doing a very good job not just filling up one of our top order hole, if he can have another good knock, it will be very hard for the selectors to drop him in near future.
I have less trust in these selectors the way they drop/bring a player and the logic they come up with to try to justify that.

C'mon Jahurul, try to go past your previous best score and you should be cementing your place in this amazing BD side. You should know by now that it's an absolute privilege to be a part of the national set up. Make it count.

He was injured in one series and then dropped by the selectors. No off-form.

Yeah Jahirul, lot depend on you today.. even if Tamim can't continue his same performance today please don't panic and give us a good start.. you can block as many balls as you want but please be there till 25th or 30 th over.. Our middle order can take care of the rest..

Boy, does he look ugly against the short stuffs. Just as much as JS, SN if not more. No matter how much you hate Ash, at least he looks good when he is out there, even when he is playing stupid shots.

Once Malinga bowled the short stuff at Jahurul, it completely unsettled him and I wanted to watch closely, whether he'll fight it out or he'll walk out limply, unfortunately he got out the softest way. You could clearly see that he's rarely ever faced this high quality of pace bowling and he was clueless. I believe that while he's had a decent start to his career, he still has a long ways to go before he can be a quality #3 in international cricket. It's a very tough job so he needs to continue to learn and improve.

^^^ I dont know what to say about Omi. He looks so good playing straight but when pulling and hooking looks vulnerable. Should avoid those shot.
