Default Ban Aizaz Cheema for His Unfairness Conduct in Asia Cup 2012 Final

Aizaz Cheema...on his very last over..Bangladesh needed 9 runs from 6 balls to win Asia Cup 2012.. after bowling his first ball..when Mahmudullah was running for two ...he blocked him deliberately so he can't take the 2nd run..umpire Steve Davis noticed it right away and warned him verbally...THIS IS NOT FAIR AT ALL... that very important run could bring fortune for Bangladesh to achieve their milestone.. even if he wud get out..it wud be Mahmud's responsibility...So..please PUT YOUR VOCAL TOGETHER FOR BANNING Aizaz Cheema for his unsportsmanlike conduct... !!!

See what AIZAZ CHEEMA has done on his 1st Ball of 50th over...!!

Umpire was there to take whatever decision it needed, so what is the point to call for ban on Chima?

Well at least the Umpire saw it and warned him. Usually we don't even get that. The thread title makes us look bad, just saying.

It's all right to say "that's part of the game", "happens all the time", "get over it" etc, but the fact remains this an EXTREMELY important incident in the outcome of the Asia Cup final. It would not only have given us the extra run on that first ball, but also kept Riyad on strike. Razzaq's inability to hit the boundary lost us the game. Riyad would've been FAR more likely to hit that elusive boundary.

Bottom line is, we got robbed by Cheema.

there was no extra run, Riyad would have been out if had gone for the run.

If Cheema was guilty than Mash was also guilty when he collided with Afridi

Can we somehow vote to get this useless thread deleted? As a Bangladeshi fan, I feel ashamed that we are even talking about this.

Yea, this isn't even serious enough for a suspension, let alone ban.

He did do it deliberately though. The best we can hope for is a fine and a formal warning from ICC.

Cheema should definitely be called for a disciplinary hearing from ICC....but please no more giving "Asia Cup" to us for sympathy....no we gonna WIN it in 2014 Insha Allah by playing fair and square....
