Rain in Bangladesh

Everyone likes to watch rain. I am sure all of us have at least one good rain-moment, a childhood memory of soaking in the rain or playing football under a cloudy sky....

Except a few, most of us has now travelled abroad to countries where either rain doesnt happen or its not just the same as it was back then!

This video has inspired some really wonderful rain memories and I had to change the title so that this becomes a place where everyone can share their sweetest rain memories!

Cox bazaar is really a looooong journey with bus and amader poribar eto lazy and scared je jaoar shahosh jogar korte parina...tai ghore boshe ba chadhe boshe brishti onubhobh kori.

দেশের মত বৃষ্টি আমি অন্য কোনো জায়গায় দেখি নাই. কালবৈশাখী অনেক মিস করি. আচমকাই আকাশ একেবারে কালো হয়ে যেত আর গাছের কিছু পাতা পরে পড়ত. তারাতারি সব জানলা আটকে দিতাম কিন্তু একটা একটু খোলা রাখতাম.

আমাদের বারান্দা তে পুরা গ্রিল ছিল. বারান্দার মেঝে তে বসে থাকতাম. আর অঝোর বৃষ্টি দেখতাম আর ভিজতাম .

তবে সবচে ভালো লাগত ঝড়ের আগের মুহুর্তে মাটির সেই ঘ্রাণ. আমার বাসা ছিল মিরপুরের এক চিপায়. চারপাশে অনেক খালি জায়গা ছিল.

I think thats how geography works in BD in general. Enough moisture all around to get drawn in over a hot land mass.
