Coach Siddons really does have a lot of passion for BD cricket and really admire him for that. Remember also, he took over the team when we had no world class players. He was a very good batting coach and did help our batsmen a lot.

I'm just getting tired of hearing this talk about our FC system. It's just been the same old story and it doesn't seem to be rectified. The idea of FC matches are to have them be close to Test match standard. Shakib stated that county cricket felt like playing Test matches and Enamul said that the Ranji trophy was also like playing Tests. If our FC matches are of that poor quality then how are we ever going to improve in Tests? I mean we're not even playing FC matches now because of this ridiculous DPL drama. Bottom line is that as long as we have politicians running BCB, these problems will just not be rectified.

Remember the days traveling to Australia. Half the team was plotting to cut lose for ICL. Siddons didn't quit then. All of sudden 5/6 months worth of work lost and had to start almost from zero again.

The problem was in the WC squad two many interference by the outsiders. Trying to include Mash (not ready), Ash (not on merit) was the downfall performance. Thus the negativity towards Siddons. Had the NZ beating team was hold on to, I think we would have done much better.
