Neither Iraq nor Iran are landlocked.

Going purely by memory:

Landlocked countries in Asia:

Laos
Mongolia
Afghanistan
Bhutan
Nepal
Uzbekistan
Kirghizistan (can never spell it)
Tajikistan
Armenia

As far as I can recall Kazakhastan and Turkmenistan has the Caspian Sea on one side.

That'a tough one. A whole bunch of East Europe + Germany, Austria. I think Budapest is split by the Danube (Buda and Pest) so Hungary should be one? Not sure of Rumania
or the balkans. Where does it hit the Black Sea? Through which country?

Right on Boss. And I think out of those Uzbekistan is double-landlocked, as in surrounded by other landlocked countries. (I think I heard that at a pub quiz at some point! haha)

You're right to mention Romania boss, the Danube ends there. I'll let this question gestate a bit and see if anyone can answer it without wiki-ing or google-ing

Ok. Bratislava is on the Danube so add Slovakia.

Now from Hungary to Rumania. I think Belgrade is on the Danube to. SO add Serbia. So if it has to go through Serbia then it must enter it from Croatia. The side-ways U shape. Does it also pass throug Bosnia-Hrecegovina?

Ok, current tally:

Germany
Austria
Slovakia
Hungary
Croatia
?
Serbia
Rumania

AT least 7, maybe 8.

ADD:

Navo says 10. So I will start guessing the remaining three.

Bulgaria
Bosnia
Umm. Moldova?

Talking about Geography: this was my FB status yesterday

Quote:
I've just put all my books on Iraq coz even though I did finally manage to Peru-ve the Homomorphism theorem, I just couldn't for my life calculate the arc Korea.

It's been a Dhaka-ide since the last time I enjoyed Reading, although the statistics was a Madrid.

US they say do not simply Doha backflip this late in the night, no matter how Machu want it as everyone's taking a Nep and Al.

But still no matter what they say, love is always India.

Saudi-d I just Laos it now or has it always Burundi case? I will forever Rwanda.
No copy-pasting.. promise
