I had some banging Philly CheeseSteak last night after watching the Dictator. Looking forward to having some chicken over rice from Jackson Heights. My favorite reason for coming to NY is food, you can't get halal food where I live.

Brunch:

Made myself a properly aged, then dry rubbed* and finally Teriyaki glazed sirloin steak (medium rare) and a side of potatoes au gratin with smoked beef bacon. Both the aged sirloin and the beef bacon are from Bengal Meats, owned and operated by a couple of Aussie expats who who exactly what they're doing. Washed it down with chilled water and iced mint tea.

*sea salt, fresh roasted and then cracked black pepper and Chinese star anise.

Dinner:

Probably take one of my cousins out for a vegetarian meal at Roll Express. Looking forward to the excellent blended green mango cooler there.

While a normal omelette may be easy enough, making a really good omelette is not easy.

I had a sloppy joe and chocolate milk for lunch. I felt like a kid in an american public school again

^^ I've been to a place called 'Chipotle' in London which mainly does massive burritos. Is it part of an American chain?
