Good decision to play T20 matches in Europe rather then ODI's. So we have plenty of match practice now ahead of the T20 Worlds.

I hope they come up with a better plan this time regarding media rights. Nimbus was a joke last time. I hope they have learned from the mistake. Well...BCB and learning from mistakes? Can't be so sanguine...

^^^ Ireland are also participating in T-20 WC they may see this as good opportunity to get some match practice.

Also T-20 will pull in lot of media interest and bringing advertising revenue which will be much needed for Cricket Ireland.

My opinion is Ireland want odis quite deliberately as it would be an opportunity to improve our rankings.. t20 ranking is already quite strong. As I hope it still happens but it seems really disorganised from the bangladesh end. I've gone o n record as saying this on my twitter feed if anyone wants to follow...

Yeah you are right bro!! We have an inept man running our board!! I think we Bangladeshi fans are more frustrated than you guys.. We are desperately waiting for some international cricket and here is the man who is busy creating more controversies than actually plan a busy FTP.. With such stupidity all around how can you expect a country to grow as a strong cricketing nation

Is the BCB the kind of place where it takes a long time to make your next move, its like they don't realize this schedule is for two months and alot of our players have international contracts to give notice of fixtures on. Just agree the games and we can look forward to some cricket. If you want a four day game fine but we can't pay for it as we don't get funded from ICC. They know the score

Why can't we play ODI and T20. Why do we have to stop playing one version just because of the world cup? This is how we lost 2 test match against NZ before the WC 2011 that we will never get back.

Even i dont get the logic. Just because wc t20 is around the corner does not mean we play only t20s. We can play odis atleast if not tests.

Bangladesh Cricket Board's request to rearrange the fixture of the Tigers' tour of Europe in July has received positive feedback, it was learnt yesterday.
After its meeting on Thursday, the board said they have made the request to Cricket Ireland toplay five Twenty20 internationals instead of five ODIs keeping in mind preparation for the ICC World T20s in Sri Lanka in September.
"Not only have the cricket authorities in Ireland welcoming the change, they could schedule seven Twenty20s against Irelandas well as convince the Netherlands and Scotland," said a BCB official requesting anonymity. http://www.thedailystar.net/newDesig...php?nid=235697
