That's still a good team. Their pace bowling department is still strong with Tsotsobe, Parnell, and De Lange. The batting also has good batsmen like Levi, Amla, Du Plessis, Ingram and Duminy. We should still be able to give a good fight to them. Looking forward to it. We should name our team soon as well.

Morne and Steyn will bring their A game in T20 world cup, they don't need to practice. Parnel, De lange and Tsobe will get games in this tpurnament. I think SA will be more interested in using Tahir and Peterson and van der. Remember the world up is in srilanka.

IPL does not merit a players quality and talent!

De Lange won't play due to better players in South Africa bowling Department Already.

But he has the potential of being a excellent player.

^ exactly since when did IPL performances become the sole decider of the quality of a player. Plus how many games did he exactly play? De Lange was killing it last year when he played for SA, than Philander came in and the rest is history. De Lange is young he's got time to grow. Like MSM bhai said De Lange probably won't make the T20 squad but not because he is crap but because SA already have enough quality fast bowlers in their line up.

IPL is a good indicator of a player's T20 form. It has nothing to do with his class or anything. He bowled crap in IPL, so it's highly unlikely that he would be picked over good T20 players like Tsotsobe, Morkel and Steyn etc. (who were top notch in IPL, mostly)

What is ironic about this series is that it’s going to be an unofficial one with no recognition from the ICC! Hence the matches will all be unofficial Twenty20 affairs which will not be recorded in the International Statistics of the players and the teams! Another pity of this series is that there will be no broadcast of the matches on any of the TV Channels! Perhaps, the Series could well be played without a TV or a Third Umpire as well. This Series is more of a warm-up for the three teams prior to the upcoming T20 World Cup 2012 in Sri Lanka.
