Translation of video description by Google

Saudi man insults the dignity of the expatriate Bangladeshis and ask him to kiss his hands and feet to turn the force but in God

What the Saudi kept on repeating while slapping him - "Saudi Haiywan?" which translates to "Are Saudi Animals?" And the Saudi also said something like, "Why are you praising the US and calling us Animals?...." And a couple of times, he also mentioned the word Kalb which translates to Dog in English.
I haven't polished my Arabic skills in a long time, but this is what I gathered from the video. It may be not be 100% right

Saudis are Arabs but not all Arabs are Saudis and not all Saudis are like that, FACT. I've known plenty of Arabs, particularly Syrians, Lebanese, Egyptians, Yemenis and Iraqis who are wonderful folks VERY far from the Wahabi/Fascist/Hypocrite stereotype.
The thread title should reflect the truth in light of the embedded content before any discussion on the treatment of Bangladeshis in certain countries can take place. The tendency to blame an ENTIRE GROUP or CULTURE for the egregious actions of INDIVIDUALS within its sociopolitical fabric is unreasonable and stupid. Even when 99 out of 100 do wrong, the single exception or just the ever present possibility of an exception should prevent us from blaming the whole group.

A agree that the thread title can be considered as far too sweeping: maybe one of the mods can change it to "A video from Saudi Arabia",

You're translation seems right to me.
Nobody deserves to be treated that way, but we need to put things in context. KSA is a totalitarian monarchy deeply influenced by Wahabism. Translation: it is not a democratic state where one has the right to dissent and speak his mind, especially when he happens to a foreign worker/merchant from Bangladesh.
This behavior is totally expected in a country like the KSA.

Questions come to my mind :
1. How do we know that guy in the car is a Bangladeshi? And those abuser were Saudi police?
2. What would have happen if the guy had protested physical assault at that time?
Cant just believe how an educated person as it seemed, just accepted that inhuman brutality, and let booted his dignity w/o any protest! [May be I am wrong since I dont understand a single saudi word] Looks like we live in freedom pradise in infidel land, compare to that holy land.

He said in the video that he's from Bangladesh. However, whether the abuser was a policeman or not, it was not mentioned.

How would you know that abuser did not have any arms ? Even if the saudi man had no arms, it's would have been very unwise of him to confront the abuser. That would make things hostile.

Unwise? maybe
But at the cost of ones dignity
The idea in some places is that you have to accept abuse, slaps, your parents being abused etc without retaliating, if you do, all hell will break loose and you will be punished for having the temerity to protest abuse, for having acted "beyond your station" and so on
There are a number of such videos coming from Saudi Arabia (and in one of them, the comment saying all bangladeshis are criminals got the most thumbs up) :
I live in the Gulf, but the situation in my area seems to be much more benign compared to what i see in saudi arabia. Would any of our members who lived in SA be able to understand why Bangladeshis are so ill treated ?

Those lines are best suited for hindi chinema.
Once you face such situation you will then understand what is most valuable, 'Life' or 'Dignity' !?
The most important thing is to understand your surroundings and the approach of the attacker. No point of being hero to save your dignity and lose your life to such [censored].

I have lived in Saudi Arabia all my childhood, close to 18 years. It is true that the Bangladeshi's are subjected to physical and mental torture. This happens mostly at the hands of the Saudi who is sponsoring the individual(of course not all of the Saudi's). There are many many varied reasons as to why this happens. From what I've seen and heard during my stay, most of our fellow countrymen who come to Saudi are mostly construction labourers/janitors/etc, they earn a meagre salary and are usually not paid on time and most of their sponsors hardly give a damn about them. So they have no power whatsoever, to confront their khafil's(sponsors in Arabic). Also, there are many Bangladeshi's who do the dirty work, provide illegal cable connection, alcohol, women, marijuana, etc etc, you get the gist and are usually the ones to get arrested by the cops. Most of the illegal immigrants in Saudi Arabia are Bangladeshis, who flee to another city, get a duplicate identity and work with no intention of returning back to Bangladesh.
What is more shocking than the harsh treatments of Bangladeshis, is the treatment of Filipino ladies, who are usually maids. There have been various news & reports about them that have come out from the country. This harrasment is nothing compared to how those ladies are treated.

The only time I will not respond to being abused is when 1) The attacker is armed, 2) He is in a position to harm any of my dear ones.
Typically Keralites are the most subservient workers in the Gulf, i have seen a Keralite shopkeeper slapped in his own shop and having his whole family abused for a small mistake, by someone definitely not armed, all he did was say "sorry, please forgive me".
You may think it is "Hindi chinema", but almost any other normal person wouldnt stay quiet and be slapped in his own shop by an unarmed 18 year old. The more hot headed ones may assault the offender very badly, while others may slap back...

This is nothing new. Unfortunately, human rights is almost non existent in these Gulf States. But Gulf represents a tiny part of Arab population and so we shouldn't generalize.

some excerpts from the video
"Allah is seeing, may Allah bless you, i am sorry for sake of my parents and child"
Q: Why did you say Saudi govt is bad
"I did not say so"
"Saudi arabia is your father, you dog
The whole world is afraid from saudi arabia"
"you think saudis are afraid from america"
Q what are you
A i am bangladeshi
Q no you are animal, what are you
a i am animal
he also abuses his mother.
The Bangladeshi denies saying anything yet the Saudi guy tries to bully him: may he be humiliated sooner or later for his arrogance. Such people when the Americans mistreat them yet they bully those weaker them, may they be mistreated even more.
Incidentally there was a recent case when a saudi army guy slapped a Pakistani airport police in Islamabad airport and got trashed in return.

Just a request for our moderators
it would be great if my title could be changed to "A saudi video" instead of the current one which sounds like a generalization
