Italy thoroughly deserved to win. England were embarrassing in the second half, especially in Italy's half of the pitch. Rooney constantly kept giving the ball away and Young's penalty miss epitomised his match performance and to an extent his performance in the tournament.

I agree, the right team won. Caouldn't stand England's tactics ... Whatever Lallas says on ESPN. Take beauty out of game and I'm out. What can you expect from Lallas any way.

Pirlo
Looked like Italy had far better experience for penalties- they took their time and adjusted their shots

What a fantastic performance from Pirlo. Kept feeding spectacular balls to the rest of his team-mates eventhough they didn't make the best of it. Don't think he made a single passing error in the game.

Khub e baje khela hoise. Boring...... Etogula goal er chance miss korse....Both team. Ercheye Pak-SL test was more enjoyable...
I dislike decisions by penalty.... They should follow the final set of Tennis .. Keep playing until someone scores a goal....if decision in the match is a must...

The last time England won anything was the World Cup a year before I was born in 1966. I'm sure I'd have spent my entire life without witnessing England, the Toronto Maple Leafs of soccer and easily the most egregiously overrated team in the history of the modern game, win either the Euro or the Worlds ever again. I'm afraid I won't be the only one in this Forum.

the first time i saw somebody score a Penalty like this was PAOLO DI CANIO.
later Sebastian Abreu of uruguay and zinedine zidan also scored penalties with this style.
Abreu used to give more flight and dip in his penalty and he was the best executor of this type of penalty as far as i have seen..
