Unless you "nurture" what "nature" has given you, you won't be as good as you can be. If nature didn't give you much to begin to, you can overachieve and overcome a lot, as long as you set the bar high enough and don't celebrate your own mediocrity because others around you are.
Then there is Mohammad Ashraful Matin, supremely gifted dude AND the hardest worker in Bangladeshi cricket, to defy all otherwise useful insight.
