100 in 100th test. Congratulations to Smith. With two of the best at the crease, England will be in trouble if they cant get them early

300 for Amla. Wadda player. England dominated India with pitches that helped their fast bowlers, but can't do that against Morne and Steyn. So they went for a flat pitch, and now paying for it.

Ei-pitchei to thiki Morkel mama 4-wicket nilo and actually bowled England out! Let's see if there is any 'mysterious' change in the nature of the pitch when the Saffers eventually come out to bowl...

Amla is such a minnow basher. Take away England test status right now!

Guessing Smith wanted at least 50 overs to bowl at Eng today. Kallis should've gone after his 200.

Offcourse he will. Shak played Test almost 6 months ago. We play test in another 5 months than again break for another 4 months. We play way too little test matches for Shakib to be able to dominate the allrounder list.

would be good to see finn in the next test, i know england have a really good pace attack atm but this guy is an awesome bowler, england are missing out by not having him in the team, finn over bresnan, i know they lose some batting but that's what they should do, especially watching how ineffective the english attack has been this match, they need to do something to give it some bite.

Lunch time Day 5. A positive end to what has been an OK session for England, just the one wicket down and they've halved the deficit too - they would probably have settled for that, especially after Ravi Bopara went in the first half hour of play. But still another 62 overs to survive and South Africa have plenty of time to take these five remaining wickets. The runs will only become a factor really if England manage to take out another session only losing one wicket, they could sneak into a lead in another two hours...CI

England bat deep with bresnan broad and swann to come but 62 overs is still a long long way away. This pair needs to bat till tea for enland to feel comfortable.
