Not sure about Eng's decision to go for all seam attack to be honest. The pitch looks good for batsmen. Batsmen will love to play pace bowling on this pitch.

lol there is only one person in the entire england who is a good spinner, and that too one of the best, and he is left out, making the attack look 1 dimnesional.
Just like our spin attack :P but ofcourse riad is a handy off-spin bowler

Good come back from Eng picking up 3 important wickets (Smith, Amla, Kallis) quickly.

AP stepped up. But those 2 last wicket pushed England up a lil. This middle-lower will be challenged tomorrow.

nice to see alviro step up, so now he's got more test centuries than half centuries, great conversion rate. was hoping kallis could get more to help his record in england, and a shame AB missed the 50.

I can't see England that big of a lead. Still 68 runs behind and the last recognized pair in the middle. Although Bresnan and Broad are no clown with the bat. I predict England will get around 70ish run lead.

^ That would be for the best. Or else Strauss, just another one of your typical defensive INT captain of today, Eng will bat as long as they possibly can.

Some bad umpiring to give Kallis out but Finn bowled well with occasional drifting down the leg side which is acceptable as he rushed through SA top order; Rudolph and Duminy sticking it out and building a partnership

Rudolph and Duminy are gone. But Philander batting with some responsibility. 300+ will give them a chance

a mini-chock. But with GK, I think they were able to calm down and regroup. I can see them folding for below 120 at that point.
But lets wait till 4th inn.

RSA are the best team in the wordl right now, no doubt they can regroup from this, if any bowling attack can restrict a batting line-up atm it's the saffers, and the lack of runs they've scored as well as the english bowlers getting the wickets will motivate the RSA bowlers to perform. glad england have stuck with finn though, he's got great potential.

Well, the English clearly have the upper hand now. Philander and Steyn are putting together a brave little partnership but won't help their cause much unless they do to England what Anderson and Finn have done to the RS of A. Getting Smith, Petersen, Amla, Kallis and de Villiers, their fabulous top 5, OUT for a total of 79 runs is the amazing feat they must equal if not exceed to stay in this test match.

That Bairstow knock has pushed back SA little but if they can get two early wickets tomorrow then we might see a whole different ball game
