I don't see how Ireland can win against this Bangladesh side. Today with no contribution from its star players of Tamim, Shakib, Mashrafee, Bangladesh still won. It isnt going to be easy for Ireland to beat Bangladesh without improving significantly their bowling department and their batting.
Maybe if they bat first, they can put Bangladesh under some pressure with taking some early wickets but other than that, its still a number 10 side trying to beat a number 6 side ( Sorry, had to rub it in before the opportunity slips)

New Rule. BC staffs cannot open MT, starting from the upcoming WC. Either that, or only staffs should open MTs.

Key players irresponsibilities are unacceptable. They need to step up and win the last match for Bangladesh.

This is actually a very good observation. This is the new BD team ... as opposed to the "team"s of the past. These guys have stopped giving up till it is over.
I know we fans raise hell debating merits of each player selection and each decision of the captain, coach and selectors. But looks like these 11 boys (regardless of who they are on each specific occasion), can rise above these petty debates that fans engage in. They raise each others' games.
Hats off to you boys.
Winning indeed is a habit. Once you form that habit, it comes, sometimes seemingly easily, at other times a result of a tough fight.
1 run or a 100 runs, it doesn't matter. It is that winning feeling - that's what matters.

Ora moriya hoye lor'hbe. Ora shaub kichhu ujar'h kore khelbe. We'll see Irish pride at its very best InshAllah and better be ready for it. This ain't hurling, soccer or a number of other sports and hence we'll always beat them at their best if we play our best. We'll need to for this potential BanglaWash.

But are you willing to embrace a mortal life with Shakargorn rather than immortality without him?

Almost everything went wrong in the last game. We had a pathetic begining to the innings with poor run rate then tamim got out for a duck followed by shak. The moment mushy started a counter attack he got run out. During bowling nothing went right for mashrafi and even shak had a poor game with the ball. Despite all those difficulties and the inside edges that kept missing the stumps and the dropped catch of stirling we STILL won! Our team will not see worse days than that too often and to come out victorious from that situation really shows we have matured as a team. We must not repeat the mistakes and give the Ireland a chance to take control. Bat first bat big and choke the hell outta them should be today's mantra.

Can anyone think of any other instances where Cricinfo has not written a match preview for an international fixture?
