Whp 47-8, আজকে কি পিচের নীচে মাইন টাইন পুঁইতা রাখছে নাকি?

Good question. When the opposition is 3-4 down I can attribute it to good bowling but being 8 down for 47 sounds too good a scoreline for our bowling attack

Wow, this match didn't last long...was it a T20 match, or a 50-overs match?

^^ Though it was good but sort of meaningless to be honest.
Series is lost and chasing only 54, there was no pressure or added expectation, so it was an easy task.
Had they remained unbeaten and won a game for the team during the previous two games in the series, that would have made more sense.

Since when were we developing him in the first place? As far as I'm aware the only quality bowling coach we have is Shane Jurgensen and judging by our recent pacers' performance, I'm not sure he can be classed as quality.

Dhaka, Oct 2 (bdnews24.com) - Bangladesh A won the final one-day match against West Indies High Performance Centre by nine wickets on Tuesday.
Electing to bat, the visitors were shot out for just 54 in 18 overs at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
Only two batsmen managed to reach double figures - Keddy Lespori (15) and Yannic Cariah (11 not out).
The home side romped to victory in 8.4 overs losing only the wicket of Shahriar Nafees. Besides opener Soumya Sarker had to retire hurt after pulling a hamstring.
The two Haques , Mominul (25) and Anamul (23), then rattled up the required runs.

This is A team, playing some WI HP team. That really doesn't say that he has matured for the National team. Having seen his attitude in the field, I'm not at all hopeful that he can turn into a high performing pro at this level ever. He is he'll of a lousy guy in the field, shows his approach to the game in early days.
Well, there is no harm keeping him in the A team and Academy or HP unit, if he can develop that attitude and change. For the time being, there is no point even keeping Shahadat outside and taking him in the national team and ruining his future, if there is any.

at this point better to keep abul in the A team or academy team, give him development, surely his on field attitude can change but in terms of the national team that doesn't really matter to much because he's not ready for the national team, except...oh wait he'll be selected anyway probably. if a player is clearly not giving it his all on field i think there should be disciplinary action taken.

see this is what i'm saying, anamul out for 17, agian failed to make a decent score. i'm high on the kid, i've been high on him and rallying for him to be fast tracked into the national team but when you have this sort of A series and the one chance you got for the the national team was a flop (despite being unofficial), it makes it really difficult for the selectors to pick you.
his current status is this: performs superbly at the u19 level, performs really well in domestic First-Class cricket, average for A team, no good in his only chance for the national team. true his national chance was t20 so you can kind of disregard it to a degree, but you can't disregard these A team performances, that's what they're for, do well in A team=ready for national team call, do bad in A team=not ready yet. i realise saying that make it's very theoretical but in has to play some factor if not a big factor for a young up coming player when they're trying to move onto the national team.

The guy who batted with a SR of 14 in 4-dayers is batting with an SR of 114 in T-20 !!
Perfect gear change.
I'm officially impressed with Naeem.
Currently batting on 39 (34).
Also surprised to see the match is actually taking place.
Its been heavily overcast condition the whole day with sporadic rains.
