How is it Under-19 team? Many of these players over 19 like Anamul, Asif, Noor Hossain, Soumya Sorkar, Dewan Sabbir etc.

This should go on a FAQ. There's a few threads on it. Do a search. The rules stipulate that you have to be 19 on or above a cutoff date PRIOR to the WC.

^and associate teams get a 1 year bonus on top of that stipulation to even the field a bit more. so for the 6 minnow teams its really a U-20 team.

btw why the big games for us on friday and saturday night?? game starts 12:30am and i can't stay awake for long both the days as i will be playing RL cricket on sat and sunday so gonna miss the live action

SL's batting looks very weak. They scored 158 runs chasing 192 against India and only 188 runs against Irish bowling attack. Our bowling performance has been good so far. I expect our bowlers to restrict them as tightly as possible.

I say, if we win the toss, bat first. Score around 230-240 and then make them work hard to pass the target. As our batting is vulnerable too, we better NOT bat last.

thats right. on paper SL have one of the worst batting, but one of the BEST in bowling attack so if we bat first, score 230+...and if we bowl first, don't let them cross 150.

Bangladesh captain Anamul Haque, whose side will meet Sri Lanka at the Allan Border Field in Brisbane on Saturday, said his side will be aiming for consistency. “The objective is to settle down quickly. I am putting emphasis on focus as many of our boys haven’t toured that much and I have seen that some may actually get overawed by the experience. We are also looking for consistency which is still not there in our performance. We have been making the odd contribution but not doing it as a group on a regular basis.

“I am sure everyone has set personal goals but we all have the common desire of seeing ourselves in the final,” Anamul said.
