Very good news indeed. Love to see Mehrab is trying to come back...

Great ton from Ayub as well.

Congrats to both

Agree that Naeem doesn't really have a spot in the current set up, but he should be considered as a depth player. I think Nazimuddin has done enough so far to keep his place in tests (not in ODIs) and Monimul is the best up and coming batsman it seems, just edging out Anamul. Sohag Gazi looks like a very good prospect and the fact he isn't SLA means I'll give him a nod too.

My team: Tamim, Nazimuddin, Monimul, Shakib, Nasir, Mahmudullah, Rahim (wk+c), Gazi, Sunny, Rubel, Shafiul

On a seaming deck you could go with Mortaza instead of Sunny, although the team won't see one of them for a while.

junaid runout for 4, jahurul and junaid not really making claims to be selected so i reckon most likely nazimuddin will retain his opening spot unless they decide to blood anamul.

mushy is at the crease, hopefully the collision hasn't rattled him to much and he can get some batting under his belt.

3/363 is a mighty effort from dhaka metro, tasamul still to come and marshal and mehrab obviously have their eye's in.

taposh is another spinner to keep an eye on, bowls some leggys (got a 5fer in the last innings) and bats a bit to (made a couple of FC tons and is on his way currently for a 3rd if all goes well for him).

I thought, Dhaka Metro was the weakest team... But they are playing the best so far, as the longer version should be played. They were not under pressure being under 411 and played the innings perfectly till now. On their way to take a first innings lead.

Rajshahi, the team said to be best prepared for the tournament, is probably losing it miserably. They had a bad luck, but don't think that would have mattered much.

Barishal is not as good as Khulna on paper, but they are fighting it well so far... If they can take the last three wkts soon, they have a chance.

Compare Shiv Chanderpaul and Simon Katich's technqiue to Naeem's. I dont see whats so horrible about his technique. He might not have the best foot movement but so what? Tamim barely moves his feet. To make it simple; he is performing thus he deserves a chance in the test team. Same goes for Mominul.

don't question it, just accept it and be happy. in seriousness i hope it continues, wondering if it's because the new guy said tests is where we need to focus so players are actually trying.

Like to see M. Ayub crossing TI in individual score.... Or else TI will fly too high... He needs a challenge to play to his potential. He should be hitting Tripples on regular basis against these attacks in NCL, with his potential.
