Cool observations Razab bhai! The race to the squad is much more intense than ever before - a very good sign indeed

Has anyone seen Talha Jubair in action? 6 overs, 5 maidens (econ .33) with 2 wickets and still going.... promising stats.

Looks like Nur Hossain got dropped by Chittagong. He's been getting dropped left, right and centre. He can't even get into that pathetic bowling attack.

Yeah all the discarded pacers came out firing today, Tapash, Stepson, Talha. Would be good to see what Talha has to offer these days.

Poor attitude from CTG management. It's true that Nur didn't perform that well this season. But instead of dropping him, they need to give him proper support. He could be a match winner on his days.

Nice to see Myshukur Rahman scoring hundred. He is a long innings player.

Pacer dominated first day in every game. The pacers are utilizing the juice in the wicket or the batsmen are incapable of negotiating the movement of the ball. Nice to see Tapash, Sajedul, Tanvir, Talha taking wickets.
Very few spinners did well today. Arafat Sunny continuing his good work by taking 4 wickets.

The deadly duo of Zia and Dollar have really laid into this Chittagong attack.

Great to see Taposh da in the wickets.
Sajidul Islam also picked up 4fer...I really hope he works his way back into the national team as saw a lot of promise from him during that away tour to NZ in 2008
Also Nazmul Hossain 7 overs, 6 maidens, 2 wickets for 1 run..take that selectors!

Congrats to Myshukur and Taposh!
Hom continues to disappoint. Only he can be blamed for the situation he has dug himself into.
Meanwhile, Khulna amass 400+ runs on a single day! Chittagong has got the weakest bowling attack among the teams despite the presence of Yasir Arafat. Even Milinda is being given over 15 overs to bowl. Just shows how deplete their bowling resources are. Khulna with 9 wickets down and Chittagong without Tamim, all points to a result other than a draw. Khulna should be happy with this!

SS making yet another solid score, he's consistent but needs to work on pushing those innings to the next level and getting tons. great to see sajidul with a 4fer. anamul and shuvagata not making runs.

Taposh looks to be in "Biddhongshi" form... Why don't people opt for Taposh instead of Nazmul??
Out of his 6 wickets, 3 is Bowled... Means he has good line and length as well...

In 5 innings, Anamul ended up hitting 1 century but no half centuries. Still not consistent enough. I know our current top order batsmen are not consistent either but we should have more expectation from Anamul compared to the likes of Nafees, Junaid, and Nazim.

All the high scores are down after national players left? Sounds just about right.

Shows that we didn't really miss any batsmen. On the bowling side, on the other hand, looks like the pacers are showing why they deserve a look. Hopefully they can sustain that consistency.
