Remind me why Razzak isnt in the squad again? To me, he is one of our top wicket takers....why has he been left out?

NCL standard is very poor now after the main 15 players left.

For those wondering why Razzak gets tons of wicket in domestic but not in Tests, it's very simple really. Look at his bowling style. He bowls flattish, wicket to wicket lines. Not a whole lot of turn or overspin. Very effective in ODIs and limited overs where the batsman has to create scoring opportunities. Very effective in OUR domestic FC where 99% of the batters lack patience, tend to not come down the wicket and can be tempted to indiscretion. A Test batter can block his good ones all day, hit the bad balls and by end of day, tire him out to go after him.

Another way of thinking about it. If you decided to not play Razzak across the line, willed yourself to play LOTS of dot-balls, and were aggressive with your footwork, do you reckon he'd get you out?

I won't be surprised if Salauddin Pappu turns out to be Alauddin Babu's brother. If that is indeed the case, their parents could've done a better job rhyming-wise by opting for either the Pappu-Babbu or Papu-Babu combination. Pappu-Babu is somewhat awkward as is Papu-Babbu. Can't win 'em all I suppose.

Rajshahi's undergoing a predictable collapse ATM. Mizanur and Myshukur already scored their respective "FC" 100s and now have the freedom to fail for a week or two. No 50 as expected for Jahurul.

Metro needs 140 to win. I hope they win by at least 9 wickets.

I'm hoping DM lose a wicket so that Asif can bat. Anamul on 68.

The question is, if Anamul scores a ton today, should he be picked for the 2nd Test?

50s aren't good enough at this level. Only really big hundreds of 150+ are acceptable given the generally flat nature of our wickets and timid bowling. Only person in NCL who seems to have that ability to hit 150+ at will is Tamim. In the absence of that, regular hundred scoring is what we must look for. Only Anamul and Naeem have that.

6 from Bijoy...it appears as though he is being very cautious to get his 100 and possibly make the 2nd Test squad, that big hit aside.

Great to see Bijauy getting it done again. He's simply too good a player not to in this league.

6:5 is decent? Scoring more hundreds then fifties is a solid achievement that should be accredited for.

Takes a single to take him to 95*. Hope he doesn't try to get to his hundred with a mistimed six over long on.
