Mashrafe shouldn't be playing first class. I hope he limits his overs. Looks like there won't be anymore Al Amin Hossain then.

Dunno what teh rules are in Dhaka, but in TN I'm pretty sure its legal to take a loaded gun into a bar and throw back a few shots.

Just to illustrate that T20 - while replete with its own style and set of skills - is USELESS to determine Test worthiness. Case in point: Sunile Narine has, according to Windiefan, troubled the likes of Tendulkar and other Indian giants in India in IPL (presumably) - on tracks no less flat than this highway in Mipur. Kothai shunlam je dunya ultai dibe? Now look at him versus Gazi or even versus Permaul.

narine is a ridiculously good t20 bowler (at least so far), but in tests he's been inconsistent, some good performances and some average performances, he might find a groove and become a really good test match bowler but atm he's clearly still trying to find his feet in the test match game whereas in t20s and even ODIs he's already found his feet and is establishing himself as one of if not THE best spinner in those formats.
also as far as anamul he's clearly a way better FC batsman than shorter format batsman especially t20s and the people that don't want him drafted into the team yet are the ones saying give the older guys more of a chance still, well why not give anamul his chance, as it is right now he got a handful of t20 matches which weren't even official and were in foreign conditions and now he's been discarded, he's not even in the squads now.
the least that should be done for anamul is to give him a squad spot, and imo he should be given a chance in the national team in his best format (FC) in home conditions before we say he isn't prepared. most BD players aren't prepared outside of home and the only way to become prepared is by going to those places and learning the conditions but unless you're in the national team you don't really get that.

Khulna struggling. Anamul yet to off the mark...9 overs since he came in the middle.
SS got duck..turning out to be another very inconsistent player

Good to see Sabbir and Nur are back, although the former has failed already. Disappointed to see Soumya fail again. Hoping to see a big score from Anamul, he's been patient so far.

Anamul continues betting well. If he can do a good score again, he will enter in the team.

Bijauy's on his was to his 3rd NCL 100 in 4 matches. Not too shabby at all, I say.

And considering he scores most of his century in the second innings, I am tempted to put some money on that
This was just a warm up.. But in all honesty, if he is a type of player who plays better in the second innings, it's a good thing for us, as we crumble during our second innings in Tests. Hope that is not the case though, in the current Test

Khulna score 200 where other teams cannot reach even 150.

Looks like the runs have dried up in this round... Kapali gone for a low score :-(
Hope Nazmul gets a few wickets
