Asif is a disappointment so far this year. He scored only 202 runs in 7 innings he played with an average of 28.86. Hopefully he will be able to sort out his problem.

I've never seen a scorecard like Rangpur's before. That's an extraordinary turnaround. The first 5 batsmen score a combined total of 33 averaging 6.6 runs apiece. The next 5 batsmen score a combined total of 457 at an average of 91.4.

Abdur Razzak is killing it this season. 43 wickets in 5 matches. That alone tells us the quality of the batsman's he bowling to. Forget picking up wickets, this guy can barely get a maiden when he plays in Test cricket. I'm glad Gazi performed this series, otherwise Raazk would have made a come back in the next series for sure.

Well, the nervous 140s are way better than those nervous 30s, 40s, 70s, 80s or 90s

I wished our players would learn how to play the bouncer. a good chunk of our wickets is victim to the short pitch delivery. ODI is a different format all-together, you can sometimes get away with not being able to play certain deliveries as the bowler is restricted to bowling only two at max per over(correct me if i am wrong, i think ICC rules changes very frequently). In Tests, you can't get away since the bowler is going to bowl at you all day long and eventually you will falter.

They can't bowl bouncer all day long. In test the limit is 1 bouncer per over. 2 in odi(new rule)

yes. but in ODI you only face 50 overs...in tests, you face a lot more than that.

This is really good show by Asif. Need to continue. He seems a bit erratic.

Limit in Test was always two...limit in ODI is now raised to two. However you will notice that Best bowled 3-4 bouncers to Riyad in a single over. Although the rule states 2, umpires will allow any number of "playable height" bouncers in any over. Those are the best boucners in my opinion as those are the only ones that get wickets. Even Junaid can easily play a bouncer which sails 2 feet over his dome.

Really lopsided results. Each speaks volumes about the competitiveness and quality of the NCL, the greatest "FC" league in the world, and the numbers put up there. In fact, the league is so great, one need not witness or question how those runs were scored or wickets taken, and whether or the manner in which the numbers were accumulated can be replicated in international cricket.

We should hire some pacers from other countries to make them play in our NCL. Our batsmen never face a quality pacer in our domestic leagues. All the leading wicket takers are spinners. If our batsmen never face quality pace bowling, they can't learn how to face them. This is how our batsmen will fear against pace bowling and every time we will lose miserably against pace.

WTF is up with WRONGpur? Granted Nasir and Nayeem aren't there, but they still have good domestic level batsmen like Dhiman, ShuVo, LKD, Mahmud, Tanvir and Babu. Truly gutless performance in a pitifully non-competitive picnic league spewing out meaningless and farcical "FC" stats.

We don't know that. We don't know whether those wickets are due due to quality bowling or the traditional unforced batting error. Thanks to our opinionated sports reporters who cannot be bothered with such standard details, we'll never put such amazing looking figures in context unless we're witnessing the match first hand with a clear understanding of what's happening in front of our own eyes.
