Also ask Ashraful. He made a mess of it. If he didn't have a belly, he could've easy dove forward and taken it.
I'll forgive him for the first ball @ slip though..

I wanna blame Rahim for placing Abul at mid-off. That's no place for a Abul type player. Pak had Afridi-Akmal-Malik in mid/long off and on. Tamim usually fields there. Why wasn't Tamim over there?

I was thinking the same, it should be Tamim or Ash there, instead that short Ash was fielding at slip!

In all seriousness that catch at first slip was reachable for our regular slip fielders. A wicket of first ball would have done some major damage. And lets say Abul had managed to grab that one from Nazir. 2 from 2 overs is just what we needed. So it all goes back to wrong field placements. Ash and Abul was at the wrong place in the wrong time. I.e. Rahim should be blamed for the whole thing.

well it went at least a feet and a half over Ashraful so considering his height and my immaculate math I would say we would need a person of the height of Jacob Oram to be able to sit down and catch that ball.
Junaid sitting down is probably shorter than mushfiq... probably

Very hard:
1. One has to look at the ball, that takes a lot of effort, trust me, matha ghuraite hoy to...
2. Haat duita ekshaath korte hoy, that takes a lot of effort too, I mean just think of how many muscles come into use.
3. Co-ordination of hand, eye and ball. Now that's just harder.
...
So all I can say is, pray and hope that it's a catch, because when it's caught, you just get lucky.

Way to take things so literally...
My point was that it was Junaid's spot, Juanid is more than half a foot taller than Ash and would've been tall enough to reach it.

Accountability is the key. Baseball was a new sport for me at 12 and catching one-handed with a mitt was even newer. But I made it into my Jr. High baseball team in suburban DC on account of my hitting. I was doing relative well at left field until my first fielding error on account of a dropped sitter. I never played left field again until I stopped playing organized baseball after bachelors.
