Default Umpiring

Wouldn't be surprised if the consensus is that throughout the tour BD players (not the team) have been let down by debatable decisions. Unfortunately, in BD's case, each wrong decision comes with greater consequences.

What I don't understand are the following two patterns -

1) Each time a BD batsman appeared to be seriously not out , the umps did not bother to go to cameras before calling them out.

2) Each time a batsman was probably out (50-50), the umps took all the effort to not give the benefit of the doubt, and really exploit all available resources to get them out.

Now I'm not complaining, but simply commenting on the mentality of the Umps throughout the tour.

I know from record that SA umpiring have in the past been quite disputed.
