I don't know why we sent a 2nd security team when the first one said its not safe. BCB are either shameless or still trying to jerk the PCB around - most probably both.

I hope for the sake of player safety bilateral relations between the BCB and PBC are strained until that country becomes safe to tour.

At one side, Zaka cant bow down to BCB due to their previous threat affair connecting BPL, and wont dismiss the whole BD tour invitation; other side, BCB just have to keep playing this waiting game, so it can skip the blame from her adorable BPL franchises for being effortless for auctioned Pakistanis' inclusion, resulting cant say direct 'NO' to them either. I dont think BCB has any commitment boundry towards PCB here, as in reality Pakistan aint a safe place with questionable security issues that dont even need any further inspections. It will be hilariously to see, even after BPL2 ends, BCB still gutlessly keeps giving new dates for this tour.

Everyone is looser here; maybe the biggest are the two teams, who bided successfully for more Pakistani players for foreign player quota. Now these two will struggle to build even a playable squad for a game, obviously lost their credibility for the title, will lose fan support/interest, thus less income and more foreseeable payments issue on the way for the players & staff.

If it gets nasty, My inexperienced legal brain says, Pakistan can’t go for legal regarding compensation for cancelling confirmed tour as court herself ruled it to halt the tour. I wonder if BCB holds any rights to sue here against PCB, if BPL fails to achieve its financial target or not.

BPL will not fail due to absence of Pakistani cricketers. No one cares. All that will happen is you will miss out on 20,000 TV viewers in Lahore and Karachi. Won't affect sponsorships or marketing revenues.

PCB think Bangladesh cricket team would be bound to tour Pakistan but we should show them we don't care about their threat. If they don't send their cricketers in BPL, it will be held without them and we shouldn't discuss anything with PCB concerning tour of Pakistan. Then they might learn a lesson.

PCB need to be soft on Bangladesh. They need to realize that if Bangladesh don't visit Pakistan,No one will visit them. In world cricket Bangladesh will be the tour opener in Pakistan. So they need to be soft on Bangladesh, otherwise it will be a big mistake for them.

Soft? More like they need to stop blackmailing and think about their cricketers who will miss out on lots of money.

PCB is such a shameless organisation. They are openly blackmailing us on this unfair Pak tour. What are they going to gain out of it. Its not that if we go to Pak it will lure others to go there too! NO other nation will risk their lives and go and play in Pak....

Anyway - so how are we replacing this blackmailers in BPL? Going for domestic players - it wont be as exciting!

PS: am i gonna get banned for calling them by names

BCB will still remain in talks with PCB regarding touring, when this should pretty much shut down chances of any such talks. Don't understand since when growing a pair has been so difficult.

To be fair, that the BCB had the balls and gall to humiliate the PCB on at least one occaission in response to being blackmailed over the ICC presidency issue is quite impressive on its own.

I think the BCB, especially a BAL led one will not kow-tow to the PCB after this. We should seek to solidify our relationship with the SLC and BCCI (as much as possible now that the PCB will attempt to pull them into bed).

PCB should try to persuade Afghanistan now. They should feel homely at Pakistan.

Brilliant! now we don't have to worry about sending out team to Pakistan or their so called 'super' league and can finally move on. I'm glad Bangladesh Cricket are taking a tough stance on Pakistan Cricket and showing who is boss.

All he has to say.....

"If ICC does not declare Pakistan safe for Cricket, Bangladesh Cricket Team will not tour them"

A very simple diplomatic statement to say "No". And Bangladesh government should not allow any security team to visit Pakistan. What's the point, spending all this money for nothing.
