Default Indian batting line up

India probably has the best batting line up (well, let's not forget Australia) at this moment. They are also playing one of the weaker sides in test cricket who are missing their star batsmen.

Default West Indies

Although WI have been soundly beaten, something very important happened in the second test, that bodes well for the future. The selectors finally decided to drop no-good Cuffy for Lawson, who is one of the up and coming fast bowlers. He immediately was succesful and beat both Dravid and Tendulkar for pace, and bowled it at 148 kph, and was consistantly over the 90 mph mark. The other young fast bowler in the squad is Darren Powell, and he is much quicker than Lawson. Finally the selectors have realised that these bowlers need to be blooded, and that only bodes well for the future.

Sarwan has batted very well, and should get his ton soon, but franlky I dont want to talk about the rest of the batting!

P.S I saw great signs of improvement in the Bangladesh performance against SA. Hopefully this bodes well for the future!

Default WI form

I don't think other players in the WI team get enough credit. Lara is great, but players like Sarwan and Chanderpaul are also very good players. They have a number of other very good batsmen as well.

Bowling is probably their weaker side, but WIFAN is probably right, Lawson is very quick according to people who've seen him, and if the other guy is even quicker, we will have a handful to deal with in november.
