And Abul seems like a slow learner like Sir Ash, he has played a few series now but still erratic and indsiciplined as he first started. No improvement
Bhai, Taskin and Abu Jayed are too young. Let them mature first. Ideally we should send them to Ian's pace academy. Actually we should've done the same with Abul before throwing him in. We shouldn't keep making the same mistake. We need a plan for these pacers or else we'll continue to see the same results.

And agreed. Nazmul and Shafiul needed to be in this tour.

Shafiul is not fit for longer version. He has some kind of injury that will never let him play Tests again.

It was reported in news 1-2 month earlier.

He was not dehydrated after bowling 6 overs. I'd consider that an achievement for him.

Shobure mewa pholey.

He is new... he not as bad as some people are saying and he is showing promise.

Just give him some time ... he will be ok... ist not that Abul is blocking a Wasim Akram waiting in the line.

Waiting for Taskin? Yes.

Waiting for Nazmul? I doubt it. Nazmul's future is now or never.

Congrats Abul on his maiden Test wicket!

He has been very impressive today. A young FAST bowler needs to be backed up the team, coaches AND fans alike. Sad to see how some fans here in BC are coming out with "smart" comments about this young but very talented cricketer as if picking up wickets in Test is like a walk in the park. This young posters need to learn how to support a particular player or the team. Patience is the name of the game. Keep the negative and discouraging comments at bay and give the young lad a few seasons to learn his craft.

If you compare with Shahadat, he's been impressive, but that's not really saying much, is it?

It's Ishant Sharma/Sami syndrome all over again, lot of 'brilliant bowling', with no returns.
If he's full of talent, let him pick a lot of FC wickets and make his case. Simple.

Shakibrulz (and otherssux), you need to understand contexts better. BD isn´t Aus or SA where they churn out FBs in abundance which allows young quicks to fine tune their art by playing lots of FC matches before stepping into the higest level. Again, allow me to drill in the obvious: BD has a dearth of fast bowlers!
So, the standard rulz or the criterions cannont always be applied generally and equally accross the board.

Shahadat with all his idiotics, nevertheless, IS one of the "best" we got. Mash injured. Rubel, too. Taskin (flavour of the month) is far too young. Nazmul is more of a containing ODI pacer. Others like Robin, Sajid et el have not done enough recently or when been awarded opportunities at the highest level. Abul has huge potential and he has already displayed that in only his 2nd Test match. He could have picked up more wickets in the WI Test and here today if the fielders didnt drop those dollies. Regardless, one judges a talent based on his qualities. Abul has plently. All he needs now is proper guidance, exposure, strong work ethics AND time.

to be fair on sajidul he didn't get many opportunities at the highest level, didn't do the best in that game, but has done well this season.

So according to Sanga also, abul er moddhe jinish ache.. :/
