But I must say you're the one who's obsessed about our neighbor. I mean you opened a thread about epar/opar and what not. You even inquired about their support (#3026)..haha

I am reproducing the post from memory as best as I can. If there are any objections I would like to hear them before you delete it this time:

You are quite the cyclops. What did Bangladesh fans do to india? And what percentage of the fans did whatever they had done? Indian fans of no less number in percentage have done whatever they had done. It feels silly talking about this even, fans talking about things does not really matter. And no particular group of fans is really better than any other group, or worse. Our fans are certainly not worse than indian fans, and not much better. And its not like indian fans were a certain way at any particular point of time, and suddenly turned different, our fans neither.

And about todays match, we did get a lot of support and the other team got a lot of support as well. Im sure if we had taken more wickets and hit more sixes, we would have gotten bit more support and the other team would have gotten a little less if they played like we did today. That is how neutral fans generally act, they react to sixes and bowled outs, objective fun like that. Personally I expected a bit more partisan support for Bangladesh from kolkata, but I didnt think the crowd was hostile toward us, or anything too offensive or unnatural or noteworthy was happening there today.

yup I am to blamed as well. I wanted to see if language and culture will transcend barriers. I wondered how can they not stand up or get goosebumps hearing "amar shonar bangla". But I was mistaken. If they were annoyed by some unknown photoshop pic and facebook posts and not support the other Bengalis, then we don't need their support. তাদের বাঙালি টান একদমই ফিকে

What's on my mind?

There is only one thing in my mind. No matter how low we sink we will come back. Even if we are winless this tournament, we will get better. iA.

I might come across pessimistic as per few but before every match I am there staring at the TV supporting the tigers.

Sometimes when team is in dire straits I stay away from the tv. I am sure a lot of us do. It's not because we are bandwagoners but because we love.our team so much that it hurts to see us being beaten up so badly.

Man, our batsman apart from Shabbir and Maybe Tamim, don't have enough skills to take their game to the next level in T20.

Joe Root and K. Williamson is a prime example. They are known to more of a textbook players but with the improvement of skills they have taken T20 to next level. This is where Mushy and Shakib makes me cry as their game hasn't improved a bit in this format, which is clearly the most exciting format going forward...

Nadim do you love Angelo Matthews? Nadim loves youngsters and has a strong abhorrence for players over the age of 32 regardless of skill level heck even if a 10 year old would debut for Bangladesh someday Nadim would be super poised with loads of excitement.

Shakib was a terrific t20 batsman even a few years back, I don't know what has happened to him

How come good test batsmen are flourishing in T20s?

Amla, Root, Williamson, etc

I wonder how a young Brian Lara would've played in modern cricket....Ahhh...That high backlift, jumping back to the crease, those flashes on good length balls outside off and the hooks with his front-foot up in the air....those were like dream...Cricket became less interesting after Lara retired..

1) Nadim do you love Angelo Matthews? -Random question, Don't love him...but I do like him when he is on song, terrific batsman.

2) Nadim loves youngsters and has a strong abhorrence for players over the age of 32 regardless of skill level - Don't agree. yes when it comes to Bangladesh, I don't want anyone at 32 to make a debut/or a comeback. These players are awfully unfit if you compare with other countries "32 years old" players. In modern days, you can't survive in INT cricket without having decent fitness level. All the talk in the forum and online is about Taskin.

I will be the first to put my support behind Arafat Sunny.
Even if the ban is on your bowling, I would like to see you play as an opening batsman. My reason for this is the lack of eagerness from the top order to score.

In a nutshell, too many dots from the top.

Worried about Mustafiz, hoping fans won't go against him, if he doesn't perform.

That hope is very small. Some crazy fan will do something crazy regardless the result and the knee jerk critics will only focus on that like the media is doing with Donald Trump
