You don't really need state of the art facilities to be a good cricketer.

So you wanna be a bowler?

Go. There is a stump. Take shy at it till you can do it at will.
Got it? Go, break that stump everytime. Got it? Do it at will now with your non-dominant hand.
Got that too? Do it blindfolded sport.
Aight...an overachiever I see? Do it with your mind now soldier.

How frikkin hard is it? Don't make it more complicated than it really is.

You actually need state-of-the-art facilities like Australia to be better your athletic performance.

-bear crawl
-duck walk
-plank
-low plank
-pushups
-situps
-pullups
-wallsit
-mountain climbers
-leg raise
-flutter kicks
-bicycle kicks
-squats
-burpees
-box jumps
-running
-handstands

Yeah dude. You sure are missin' out. I can't seem to find which one does NOT have gym written all over its place.

B**** just jump in Buriganga to train. Bunch of whiny***, liberal snowflakes.

There are certain arenas in life you may never improve, but why not maximize the other rest?

Agility is important. Again you need 0 fancy equipment. Get a reaction ball and throw it against the wall till your nose bleeds like Leonardo in Wolf Street... It not only will hone your reaction but improve hand eye coordination, ergo better improved fielder if not translating it to other arenas as such batting.

I think we are hitting on a good topic here. Request mods to pare it to a new Fitness Thread. Now what components can we isolate that will enable to improve a player?

-Is grip strength necessary? Why?
-Necessity of gross motor skills game such as soccer which they sometimes do...?
-Or even volleyball
-Stamina (get your V02 tested)
-Agility (Be Ronaldo.. lol)

Start at

-Fast reflexes (do pliometric exercises?)
-Batsman foot work (learn boxing, martial arts, filipino martial arts replete with footwork, dance, tango, ballet ffs, skipping but...boxing is a good start)
-Invisibility (optimizing batsman's blindspot when fielding and counter that when batting)
-Speed (sprints I guess)
-Endurance (just pad up and stand from 9 to 5 on pitch for 5 days shadowboxing)
-Power (try baseball to switch gears and thought patterns or even shot puts)
-Further a SLA might benefit from a cerebrally complex sport as ping-pong...

Blah. Feel free to add anyone.

Was wondering if I'd get to see 40 consecutive posts of Zeeshan's nonsensical ramblings.

Didn't want to give him the satisfaction.

None of it was nonsensical ramblings. Shut up.

Argue to the goddamn, bloody point instead of policing people. You may not agree with my posts but don't you dare debase my opinion to which I am very well entitled as you are here.

Surprised to be labeled a "goody goody model boy" considering the number of infractions and warnings I've received over the years. Furthermore, I didn't realise being generally amicable is cause for questioning manhood and indicative of being an "inferior forum beta". Frankly, I would wager that the superior "forum alpha", as you claim yourself to be, is the archetypal unemployed 30-something-year-old loser bashing away at his keyboard whilst guzzling bottles of creaming soda from his mother's basement. Finally, the fact that it's perceivable that you can "write dizzingly annoying thesis after thesis ad infinitum" without receiving a single response suggests your posts are nothing but nonsensical ramblings.

The only nonsensical post is #4811 - an off-topic jibe intended to rile and instigate a fellow member insulting his/her personal opinion acting as a backseat moderator.

Again part of forum rules entails that should and if you do see any posts are that problematic use the report button to let your voice known to the forum moderators instead of taking the onus upon oneself to police people.

A LOT of people uses so called "non-sensical" ramblings. Zaved's pot-laden (me wonder!) forays precisely enlivened, entertained if not enlightened the forum's atmosphere many times otherwise which would have been a mere Kafkaesque drab existence where everyone following rules like robot with uncreative, unoriginal, uninsightful, mainstream, 'yes-man', thumps up "this" people pleasing comments. As was/is Imon's biting wit and one liner sharp sarcasm.

At the end of the day, what you perceive to be nonsensical is nothing but of subjective whim and taste. Let's examine one of your rich, detaily cited extemporaneous excursion into the benefits of isometric training for wicket-keepers or say, the magnus effect on Saqlain's doosra, shall we?

I mean... what's stopping. One search away. All I have to do is randomly pluck out of one-of-your-gem and unorthodox, insightful random creative posts. I mean with thousands-a-plenty I am SURE won't be disappointed. All I need is one pith and densely littered tome to devote lifetime, huh Jyoti?

The point being a lot of people make so-called "nonsensical posts". The fact that you decided to deliberately pick on me instead of others shows you are making it personal with an air of "mods letting this guy slide away...he's becoming unstoppable and uncouth....gotta staaaaaaap him..... *enters phonebooth* hang in there Lois-as-damsel-in-distress BC personification"

Most of my posts contained and captured a series of self-contained, discrete thought patterns and atomic memes which were NEVER meant to be blasted of at one shot, but rather.....gradually evolved without my own foresight.

There I countered each and every point like a mature adult that a member is supposed to do without intent of instigating or hurling insult at someone's opinion.

Suppose, I do make 40 "nonsensical posts" consecutively and it goes unchecked by the moderators. My question to you is this:

What's your problem?

Why does it bother you?

No idea as to where I insinuated I had a problem with or was bothered by you or your posts. Not sure if you've noticed, but you're essentially the only person posting, so who else am I supposed to "pick on"? Also not sure if my mere poke and giggle necessitates your clownish, overly-sensitive machine gun response. I agree that "nonsensical" is most definitely subjective in this context. I admire your intelligence and impressive vocabulary but your making of this as a monumental mountain when it's a miniscule molehill highlights your alarming levels of insecurity. Had I known my post would have had your panties in such an awful tangle, I would've thought twice. No doubt you could unearth plenty of my posts that could be deemed "nonsensical". You are the self-proclaimed alpha, after all, with plenty of time on your hands, evidently. My contribution to society goes beyond that of discussions on BC, so I'm going to end with the popular colloquial expression of "Chill out, dude".

I actually don't disagree. Kudos for speaking up. See it wasn't that hard, right? Ri----ght? So why do you STILL think you will never get Stephenny's IG?

Just kidding. You have been on point and spoken some great truth without much volume. I respect that. No hard feelings dude.

At the end of day when I pick all these so-called flary 'fights' with'all NONE of its personal. For one, I don't even know how you look like Jyoti. All I know you some dude with shirtless FB profile pic flexin and sh... LOL!! No seriously, when I go all-in against you folks or even assert my own ground against others with maternal ad hominem, honestly it is hurling rocks at water. For me to go all bats-- psycho on 'yall is same as dissing an abstract algebraic topology equation.
