Ashraful was talking about Sachin gave him tips and what not and afterward he scored that famous 158. Tarpor bole Sachin amar bashaw aschilo, ar tarporei oi double hundred.

Looking forward to BD vs Ind ODI series next year. If our bowlers can do something extraordinary, we have a chance to win the series(only if we chase in all 3 odi). Thats the only way BCCI will invite us to Ind for a full series.

btw sei Tamim ar ekhonkar Tamim @ 12:42

We should make that in to a full tour rather than just ODIs

Also why the sad face for Tamim?

I was told that he was a great coach but I don't think that one can properly make a conclusions as to whether he was our best coach because we have seen over the years that the quality of players have been different, so are the facilities.

as for the career of sachin, watch out for my show 'straight down the middle - Special' soon.
i'm seeing ashwin and ojha bowl and they are seeming to do pretty well. i want to know what you guys think, who is the better test bowler, ojha or shakib? and also, the indian wickets seem to have bounce and turn, with all the money with BCB why can't they get that red soil pitch so that our bowlers can get better and more skillful?

While I was in Dhaka, for the past year or so, I used to teach part time at a College that administers the University of London distance-learning LLB. While I enjoyed my time teaching there, as you'd imagine, such institutions do not have much in the way of a campus.

Imagine my surprise when the other day, I saw photos of the freshly-bearded Ashraful playing a walloping cover drive on the concrete driveway of the College! (I wish I could share the image but I don't have the photographer's permission)

I've come to learn that he was invited to the College by the principal but regardless, it's still surprising to see a former captain of the Bangladesh cricket team, who only this year scored 190 in a Test match against Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka, taking guard in front of fluorescent green plastic stumps...

Why is the Sylhet stadium not hosting a single important match during the T20 WC? The new stadium didn't even get a single match from the 2nd round. Not even a match involving Bangladesh in the first round. I thought this new stadium will get at least one important match from the 2nd round, maybe a quarter final or something. No one will show up to watch Zim, Ire, Afghanistan, Nepal. I thought this stadium was being built specifically for the WC.

The safety issue of our country is becoming a heavy debate on some other places. This political S**t has to stop NOW before its too late!

If I'm not mistaken, the hospitality service and accommodation in Sylhet are quite terrible as witnessed during the BPL when some complaints were raised. Don't think BCB are going to take that risk with international teams in a WC tournament.

Sylhet didn't even host any BPL matches? So I don't know where you are getting hospitality issues from. My point is why did we bother spending so much money building a new stadium with a scenic view if we are not even going to use it for the main event. We spend a ton of money to get this done and its only going to host Zim + associate team matches. SL spent a ton of money to built that Hembontana (or something along that line) right before the world cup and they used it for ton of matches. Instead of spending all that money we could have just fixed up one of the other stadium like Khulna or Bogra and just host the associate matches there.
