I was surprised to see there was no Zia in 1st two matches. Maybe selectors will take him now in Shakib's spot.

When Shakib comes back though in the remaining 3 ODIs at Shere-e-Bangla obviously replace him for Naeem Islam and drop the extra spinner on my number 10 and include another fast bowler i.e. Nazmul, Abul or Shafiul. That's because if you seemed to remember at Asia Cup that when we surprisingly went with 3 fast bowlers, it seemed to have worked but the difference is that you don't have to use the flop Shahadat anymore.

I'd go with (with expectations in the 5 match series):
1. Tamim (at least three 50s)
2. KaEdge (at least three 30s)
3. Bijoy (at least two 50s)
4. Riyad (at least two 50s)
5. Nasir (at least two 50s)
6. Mushfiq (at least one 50 and two 30s)
7. Nayeem (at least three 30s)
8. Raju (at least one 50 and two 30s)
9. Koushik (quickfire 20s and 30s)
10. Enam
11. RBX

I'm tired of 50s too many of them its all about 100s and Tamim needs to get a lot now considering its been well over 2 years since he last got one. I'm also surprised that still not one Bangladeshi player has still not got a 100 at World Cup which instantly shows our players are more than happy with 50s and to them, a 100 is just a bonus.

Poor performance - Naeem should be nowhere near ODI side. Looks like Mushy got into slog mode as Naeem sucked. Mominul, Zia, and even Asif/Jahurul did well it seems.

We'll get a better picture tomorrow. Really looking forward to see how Anamul, Mominul, Zia and Enamul perform against WI.

Naeem... Spoiler Alert...!! For the ODI series....
So much for the next big thing n Bangladesh Cricket ... Anamul Hoque... nothing better than his T20 performances against any quality... Looks like a perfect minnow basher... even an eleven little better than any NCL side, gets him puzzled.... This guy seriously needs some preparation to be able to do anything ... Please don't destroy him by bringing him so early... He is no SRT/Lara to come direct from U19 to National team....

I like the way he batted on his test debut. If he doesn't crumble under the pressure of the subsequently higher expectation and sustain that kind of class and form, I will become first a fan, and then one of his biggest fans, at least when he bats.
Raju enables us to bat deep with positive intent and I think that's important. Guys like Babu, Dollar and to a lesser extent, Farhad Reza bat better than they bowl from what I've seen, and the jury's still out on Tapash, who can also bat.
Bowling-wise he has a long way to go but can be a decent 3rd seamer of us, provided someone instills the desire and the technique in him to bowl more accurately without compromising pace and venom. A tall order indeed without Ian who did a wonderful job with RBX and Shuhash in a VERY short period of time. At least RBX has managed to hold on to that learning somewhat. We ought to be a spin-centric attack anyway at this point.
