Very compact, good footwork and a solid technique. He has the characteristics of a #3 batsmen.

Mominul plays chokh dhadhano shots just to find the fielder's hands. A trait that he shares with none other than Sir Ash. Sigh.

But heres the problem. We dump him, it will be massive blow to his confidence. This is why he shouldnt have been picked in the first place. Not mature enough for international cricket.

Man, these were all golden opportunities for these young guns to step it up. Tsk tsk.
I still like Mominul though. I don't know, I just do.

If he can't handle this blow then he shouldn't play international cricket. He has seen enough cricket bad it's drama to learn how to handle this.

Have to give him a longer run. We shouldn't get too overexcited or disappointed with him yet. Expectations shouldn't be so high on him yet. He's still a young player trying to find his feet still in international cricket.

He and Anam need sometime to get into rythm of at this level cricket. You just don't throw everyone judging on one series or few matches when matter of newbies. These two deserve more chances then those Nazim, Junaed and Sahriar Nafees, Ash, Alok and so on. You really don't want to move backwards, do you?
So lets move on and have faith on these new guys !!

Give him a break. It's only his 4th ODI. I'm hope he will learn. I don't think he was quite ready when he got picked, but since we picked him we have to give him a good amount of time.

Moni's shot today wasn't that bad, it was unfortunate that it went straight to the fielder, who had to make a diving attempt pretty fast to catch it.

He got out playing a good shot. And now he 'isnt ready for internation cricket?'. Give him a break. He will find his feet and i can bet he will be our #3 batsmen in the future. Ive got hope in this kid.

Fans over reacting. We need to give him straight two series before making a call on him. It also the same for Anamul. But Anamul looks really shaky at times so I think he learns to atleast "look comfortable" out there or else that might go against him pretty fast.

Mominul Should swap batting position with Riyad.
Riyad comes in at 5/6
Nasir comes in at 6/5
Mominul comes in at 7

Spot on!
I was against his inclusion but now we can't just drop him after 4 games. We have to give him all 5 games to prove himself. 5 games are quite enough to know if he is ready or not.
I think if he fails today he should be dropped for next 1 or 2 year. He needs more time in the Academy.
He should never be included in a Test squad.

Good that you ve put it that way Murad. Now that we have selected him already dumping him would be a crime. But we shouldnt have picked him in the first place.
He certainly shouldnt be chosen for the test squad. ODI's only.
And in future i hope the selectors make it a necessity for such talented youngsters to work with McIness at the HP academy for a year or two, go on A Team tours, before selecting them for the NT. These guys need to learn the basics, and that u cant do at a 2-3 week camp before a series. You need guys like RM drilling these fundamentals into them like it was done for the likes of Shakib

Everyone keeps talking about A team tours...but we only have 1 tour per year. That is not enough. Our Academy tours have dried up now as well. As Sohel bhai has said, we have no choice but to throw talented youngsters into the deep end. Its worked for us. We've gone from getting bowled out for 120 against a team like Canada to being 2-2 with a world champion side going into a deciding 5th match.
I am not saying they shouldn't work with McInnes at the HP unit...almost all of our players could stand to hear a lecture or two. But they need to work with the HP unit while appearing for national team duty.
