The new BPL Franchise is RANGPUR RIDERS. Eye Sports (Flora Computer LTD.) has bought Rangpur by 1.1 million USD.

T20 bowling is different. Pacers reduce their pace considerably in T20.... If you want our batsman to get some experience with pace....you have to get players in NCL....

The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) governing council set a list of the golden categories players’ name. Four Bangladeshi players- Mushfiqur Rahim, Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah Ryad were drafted into the golden category from the local players, sources said. On the other hand, Shahid Afridi, Imran Nazir, Saeed Ajmal, Shaun Tait, Driik Nannes, Alfanso Thomas, Brad Hogg, Luke Wright, Owais Shah, Keiron Pollard and Sunil Narine were included into the top category from the foreign players. The notable missing is Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels so far who are unlikely to play the BPL’s second edition.

'Golden' category players would have a base price of US$75,000. The foreign cricketers would have base prices ranging from $50,000 to $15,000, and the local players will have base prices ranging from $30,000 to $10,000

anyone know the reason why Samuels and Gayle not playing? this guys are playing big bash.

they had so much time to draft good players for auction list and end up with this average players as golden players?

What do you expect to happen after this payment debacle? Obviously you'll have players being wary about joining this league. Such great potential in having a solid T20 league and BCB and franchise owners ruined it.

We need to get players like Dilshan, jayawardne, Sanga to be in golden category and remove those jokers who are listed as golden players. BPL commitee has some useless and brainless people.

Gayle has an injury in his shin bone West Indies cricket Board suggest him to take rest until Australia tour and Samuels yet to fill up the primary form.
