Congratulations Bangladesh!

I would have gone to as many matches as possible anyway but it's so nice to have come back to Bangladesh to observe at close quarters - the ODI team at least - on the ascent. I hope to be at many, many more celebration squares in the near future.

A grand salaam for the Bangladesh team.

Respect and salaam for team West Indies. You are still much grander than us, we have nothing but the highest respect for cricket from the West Indies. We(Bangladesh) and Bangladesh cricket enthusiasts/fans can only dream of giving birth to cricketers like Vivian Richards, Sobers, Holmes, Gerner, Marshall, Kalicharan, Chanderpaul , Dujon, Greenidge and Gayle just to mention a few. Losing to Bangladesh in this ODI series will never take nothing away from the cricket and the cricket fans of West Indies, a place with such cricket history and glory. We Bangladesh fans are poor and we have a very little to hang on to, so for us these moments are Everest-like, please do not be annoyed. We are indeed most highly honoured by playing against a team like the West Indies and we most deeply appreciate the West Indies visiting Bangladesh and playing us and the West Indies fans becoming members and friends of Banglacricket.com and through time also becoming fans/supporters/well-wishers of cricket in Bangladesh.
