Default Press Conference: After the T20 match

Why didn't Mushi show up? Would he be asked about his drops of Samuels and not giving up the gloves to Anamul after getting injured?

Pathetic attitude......now you see the reasons for displaying selfish character....he thinks he is the best. Even Tendulkar wouldn't have ever been boasting about himself like this....unbelievable...

Respect for team mates....what a team playa....

Dude! where can you watch these press conferences? but yeah we didn't even try to go for the win after the 8th over for some reason and take more risks even though 9 wickets were in hand. I think it was a record or something, something is fishy about the way we went about our batting innings half way through.

He says....Translation: if I and Riyad bhai can't hit, I don't think anybody else in the team could have...

He should be simply slapped by each and every member of the team for saying that!

Again, Tamim is lucky that I'm not his teammate or non-striker. The way he acts around them is just horrible, and I probably would've punched him a couple of times by now. Most of us from BD would have.

I really do not see anything wrong with the statement.... He cant really say "Oh, i wished I got out than we probably had more chance to win the match"
also
tbh, Tamim and Zia are probably the only players who could have chased it, Tamim did and Zia did not get the chance to show his talent...

He doesn't have to say all that. All he had to say, "I ****ed up. I couldn't get going. I only had 4 6s, even though I played through the inning. I wasn't able to struck em." Just admit where it's at its end. Simple.

Sometimes something's should be viewed from a neutral point of view. Have you ever heard such statement from anyone in any competitive team sports? Think of it even coming out from Messi. Or Tiger or Lara, Bradman or Tendulkar and how that would sound......take help of experts if necessary.

Sorry, that's absolutely sick to come out from any team member of any team.....Playing Any team sports...

"If me and Riyad bhai after being set could not do it, than the new batsmen coming in would have had a harder time trying to chase"

Say what you may, I dont think he was trying to boast or anything....

If you are not hitting and there are 9 more to come, let them take stab at it. If you can't hit does not mean no one can.
He did not score any century in the tests that did not mean none were capable of hitting 100s.

For me Tamim look really tired at the end of the innings, if he can't play T20 for that long how hell he could last in any ODI or Test matches innings for longer time. Man he did look really tired and was trying to take deep breath after every single shot he tried at the end part of the innings. As Sohel bai said on some post Benson & Hedge had taken all the energy of Tamim. poor guy need to be more punctual !!

end of the innings? after 5 overs, all his energy was gone thus he struggle to score runs between 5-12 overs and refuge to run where there was easy 2/3's....

Hindsight is a funny thing. Even though it was arrogant of him to say it, it is kind of true. How many big hitters do we have that would have hit big for a couple of overs and not just a couple of balls??? Zia big hitter but how many over would he have lasted??....the main problem I felt was they did not seem interested in converting the 1's into 2s even when the ball was still at boundary they did not bother running as second.

They wanted to do it all in boundaries, which they couldn't! so should have looked to convert 1's.

Everyone in the team can make big hits....you saw Anamul....everyone is capable of plying 1/2 overs cameos ... In last ODI even Shohag hit better than TI....he didn't even need to get settled in a difficult pitch to hit those boundaries ..... You don't need to get settled to make big hits, you need to get settled to make big scores .......BD team has shown us about 100 living examples over last 10 years to prove that....we only needed people coming and hitting at one end after 12/13 th over, ....if even one guy survived more than 2/3 overs the game is won....you have to show the intent and play for winning....can't just fulfill selfish targets and justify loss by nonsense statements/excuses....

T20 is not about settled batsman. The fact that he said that shows his understanding of the format.

Now I see Ganguly benched his *** for the whole IPL season. Dada knows the best.

^ I'd trust Tamim's words through someone else's mouth than hear and see Tamim say some of the things that he says. SMH.
