Twice. I know once, the other one I am just guessing.
1. The one against Aus 3rd ODI, the one you have in your avatar. I have the same pic in my FB avatar currently though in a different angle.
2. Dnno, you tell me.

Great thread Nadim Bhai
I think Tamim dropped his bat twice. Against Aussies 3rd Odi and in the Zimbabwe 2nd odi a few days ago. He dropped it while running between the wickets.

Mo I watched that 22 seconds multiple times. Thank you very much for posting it.
Zim Commentator first was stunned to see the hit. He didn't start to speak till the ball reached the ropes. He was astonished, shocked and out of words. Back to his senses with Mic on mouth:
"Nearly killed him" (pause) still searching for words.
"Wanna tell you (pause) he has hit that as hard as anyone who has hit a cricket ball" he is back to reality and understands the fierceness of the shot. Now watching replay he is adding to his comments.
"Chamu Chibabha didn't have a chance to move. He didn't move his head and I reckon it missed by couple of centimeters" (pause) lost of words again.
Atahar got the opening, "What about the umpire??? Went like a Rocket."

Good thread. HOpe it will reduce some of the crappy threads we see everyday!!!
I think Tamim is not that popular in BC as of now. You will not see that many threads about him unlike Ash and Shakib.

But I think Tamim is our best batsman. Counting Ashraful out due to inconsistency. He has power, finesse, and good technique. He can also bat in different gears.

Tamim is not that comfortable against spin. Rotating strike is a problem too. His elder brother is better than him in both section. But I don't care as long as he gives us the hope and starts (does his job). Excellent out fielder. And then again he don't take any prisoners. That is the best quality in him. Mr. Musa found out in WC so did Zaheer.

Yes I remember another 1.
The famous T20WC09 Bd vs Ire, TI lost his bat & most probably was runout.
That makes 3 confirmed incident.
I beat u all.

He is learning fast.In the very early days, he didn't know how to play on drive and flick. Also was a very bad puller. But he has overcome those problems. Inshallah he will learn how to deal with the spinners soon.
