Grandstands and club house are usually occupied by Team owner's guests & relatives, it appears. But what about the Shaheed Jewel Stand & the other galleries? Those are somewhat expensive too. Expensive enough not to draw general crowds. But heard that Ticket prices got reduced by 45%. So, don't know the revised price.

That is usually 300 in international match. So, 2000 is outrageous.

Hurrrrrr dhurrrrrr
look......some domestic players deserve to get a chance/need a chance to prove/show their talent in a tournament:- BPL T20 but unfortunately they aren't given(because of their high profile team) like Soumya Sarker(SoSa ),Saqlain Shajib,Liton das etc.
On the other hand some players never deserves top position at the bating order or bowling but taken bcoz of their poor squad like Nayan,Maruf etc.

I don't think BPL should affect our team selection.
The selectors should be 55 % depended on NCL,DPL and BCL.........40% on A career and 5% on BPL

If you consider the quality of cricket, BPL is way above BCL and NCL and DPL..... That needs to be credited as well. But surely...the selectors should have the understanding and their ability to do better across the formats... Good players can adjust to every format...but there are players who are suitable for selected format. I'm sure the selectors know it well...

Abul hasan should have gotten MoM award yesterday. He took 3 wickets in his 4 overs and gave away only 20 runs, but instead they gave the award to Sean Ervine who picked up the last 2 wickets. If Abul hadn't picked up those wickets they probably would have lost.

That goes on to show that we have quality foreign recruits and they are better than the Pakistanis.... We shouldn't cry and make a division between foreign and local players, they are all players of the team and this league is for global viewers, not only for Bangladesh... You don't make money, if foreign viewers lose interest. So it's all fair...
Well at the end of the tournament, you can have a check, how our our players have done, such regular crying throughout the tournament goes to show that you haven't realized the nature of this franchise based leagues.....
Too many people are crying over this bd and foreigner issue, and we are just into 3rd day of the tournament.....

Each team is fielding 40pc foreigners and the MOM went to 1 irish and 2 zimbabweans out of 6 matches. Hell ya, that shows that we have quality foreign recruits!

Recenty, while looking up the scorecard for the opening match between DG and KRB, I noticed that Cricinfo made a couple of silly mistakes. Farhad Reza was classified as captain in place of SN for KRB, and the stats for Mizanur Rahman(who I believe made his debut for DR last yr) was credited to a different Mizanur Rahman(he last played FC nd List A in 2001). Does anyone knw what to do about this? The CricketArchive website differs to Cricinfo.

wow!! I dont mind much ppl making over-statement in minnow bashing. Havnt seen Stirling's innings against BB myself, neither I do 've any special love for the Irish, but dude! Ervine & Chigumbura both are very deserving MoMs.
I agree with your comment about quality foreign recruit though, but only for "crowd pulling" pov.

My point of frustration was lack of match winning performers from our own country. None could take his team to home with authority.

We were complaining about nannes and tait for not getting selected in the first auction. Now nazmul and rubel are sacrificing their bpl experience for them. :-(
