This also happened in previous season, whenever franchises wanted they bought players.... so whats the need for auction...

দল সূত্রে জানা গেছে, খেলা শুরুর আগে ড্রেসিংরুমে শাহাদাতকে বারবার ওয়ার্ম আপের তাড়া দিচ্ছিলেন ভিনসেন্ট। শাহাদাত সঙ্গে সঙ্গে না যাওয়ায় ভিনসেন্ট চটে গিয়ে বলতে থাকেন, ‘তোমার আচরণ অপেশাদার। তোমাকে দলে দরকার নেই। ব্যাগ গুছিয়ে হোটেলে চলে যাও।’ শাহাদাত চিত্কার করে প্রতিবাদ করলে ভিনসেন্ট তাঁকে কাছে ডেকে নেন। কথা-কাটাকাটির একপর্যায়ে শাহাদাতের জার্সির কলার চেপে ধরেন তিনি। হাতাহাতি বেধে যায় দুজনে। একজন বিদেশি ক্রিকেটারের হাতে নিজ দেশের ড্রেসিংরুমে এভাবে লাঞ্ছিত হয়ে আবেগপ্রবণ শাহাদাত কান্নাকাটিও করেছেন।

ya, but i don't understand why the heck the commentators emphasize so much on quick runs and run rate whenever a team is losing. is it because to attract the audience of losing team in illusion or they just don't know the fact..... the consideration of net run rate comes way below after head to head and total wins...

Well one good thing is the organizers are aware of the tournament rules this time. Wasnt the whole drama between bb and ck before the sf last year based around this nrr vs h2h rule?

Does anyone know if this rule is common in other t20 leagues? Ipl, bbl etc..
