Default Jamie Siddons wants to be bangladesh's batting coach......

according to prothom-alo.com this is what tamim iqbal said.

http://prothom-alo.com/detail/date/2...02/news/318122

if this is true and BCB looks at it, will it be good for bangladesh's batting?

Siddons being our batting coach would really help the likes of Anamul, Mominul and Nasir.

If he is hired as a batting coach, I'm all for it. He does make a difference. Just don't want to see him as the HC.

Just make him the head coach IMO. Sure he has his flaws but have we really gotten anyone long term since he left? With a better team to work with now, I'm sure he'd do better. Not to mention, he'd help our batsmen greatly with their techniques.

He will surely help Anamul with his footwork and will help adjust Nasir's game so that he can be confident enough with the new ball. I think Nasir needs to learn to leave the ball outside off when he is facing the new ball.

depends on which post he is appointed ..... if its Head coach then he will be involved in squad or team selection. but if its only batting coach then he wont be involved in team and squad selection

Oh okay. Would be brilliant if he could work with the U19/high performance bunch rather. He should do better there IMO.

To have him as a batting coach would be fine. As a Head coach again? NO.

Largely depends on what is put as the terms and conditions in the contract. We never hired batting coach exclusively from overseas before as I can recall.

I want him to be our batting coach, under Jamie Tamim had his best years. It will be really good to have a different head coach but sticking to Siddons as batting coach, players like Anamul and Mominul will improve under him. Its a good choice if it happens, and if someone can sign him for BPL as head-coach of franchise team will also be good.

TI can hire him personally as well.....

Since JS doesn't like to coach the entire team...
