^he is implying that his team worked hard in the nets to get 200+ scores and that other teams probably dont even train thus struggle to put runs on the board and/or bowl to their lengths. Other teams probably just rock up to the match and play.

It would discourage the foreign players to come over here and BPL already has enough issues that are discouraging. If that means BPL is hosted by only two venues, so be it.

Yes, obviously 'if' the facilities and accommodation are not up to par. That is not the case. Khulna did host 3 International matches just a month back and that included a test match. ICC went through an inspection didn't they? If they were below par, West Indies would have complained too.
I agree that facilities aren't Heavenly but at the same time, they do meet the minimum requirements, may be just, and that is why matches are being hosted there.
Lets just suppose, Khulna is below par in terms of facilities, in that case, the stadium should not have been built with international standards being maintained in the first place.

There is a big difference between hosting a few matches against a visiting team and hosting a major tournament like BPL. Lot more teams involved and hence a lot more people need accommodation, food etc. Perhaps the facilities in Khulna is adequate up to a certain number of hotels and not beyond that. BCB needs to take note of that and build more facilities so that future tournaments can be hosted without problems.

And for the players, these _are_ permanent jobs - they'd like to come back and more money. BTW our guys when they go UK complain about the cold and stuff too.

Bhai, don't get how its a permanent job for the players when they go to BD only for a month or so. And I also don't like the fact that our players get homesick when they go abroad and crave for ek gamla bhaat. It's natural to feel little awkward when you are abroad, but nagging about every little things that go wrong is just childish IMHO.
And the more you complain, the more harder things will get for you. That's how I look at things.

I might have made that post in jest but having traveled through Jharkand and Bihar, I wouldn't say that their living standards are any better than Khulna's. It's widely known that these two provinces are amongst the poorest in India. (Though their cricket facilities may have been great, haven't been to Ranchi stadium)

Ranchi being a popular tourist destination, they are supposed to have good hotels and restaurants for the visitors, which we lack in places outside Dhaka/Ctg. that's a maj problem.
