Al Amin reported for suspect action
Quote:
Al Amin’s delivery in the 15th over of the match between Khulna Titans and Comilla Victorians, where he claimed the wicket of Titans batsman Ariful Haque had raised suspicions about his action.

"Al-Amin was reported for one delivery from the November 28 game between Comilla Victorians and Khulna Titans," BCB’s media committee chairman Jalal Younus told The Daily Star.

“His action will now be reviewed by BCB’s five-member panel and if anything is wrong his action then he will go through a rehab program.”

Al-Amin can continue playing in competetive matches and has 14 days to respond to BCB’s bowling action review committee. The bowler's action had previously been reported in August 2014 and he was cleared in November 2014 after undergoing tests in Chennai at an ICC-accredited centre.

Zero tolerance on chucking. Identify the problem early.

From little I have seen of him during BPL, seems like he is focusing more on cutters now than his usual L&L bowling. He is definitely trying out new things, but should have done those in nets, not in a live tournament (in one match, he kept giving wides, for not being able to control leg cutters).

If you slow down the following clip (I watched at 0.25x), on 29th second, it does look like he thrown that ball -

Oh shoots, I thought that this was the thread about the other Al-Amin...not the Hossain.

Well, AAH looks like his action was always suspect.

It was not hyperextension. He straightened his bent arm at the point of release. Hyperextension would be complete opposite of that.

Morar Upor Kharar Gha.

Looks like his career with the national team is as good as gone.

So there will be one Al Amin.

That video doesn't play for me here

But previously I've seen him hyperextend, then straighten, going from say -10 to 10 gives illusion of chucking as you see an arm bend 20 degrees, but that's not chucking

That's why hyperextension gives illusion of chucking, now as for Al amin I haven't seen his recent bowling, but previously he had hyperextension which gave illusion of chucking

My post was regarding consistency rather than Junaid in particular, although it mentioned him, it was showing difference of views from you

From innocent until proven guilty compared to always looked suspect
