With all the gaps in schedule, BCB should organize a series with Ireland to be played in Ireland. That'll give us experience on those kind of wickets and help us prepare for the games in Aus, NZ, and England in the future.

The ODIs and T20s I believe pays for themselves with Ticket sales and TV rights.
Welcome to the de facto two tier system.

From Prothom-alo: BCB is trying .... stop crying!

This

People need to calm down a bit. Since the elections are over BCB will definitely try to do something about arranging more matches for our teams.

Its only two months... Whats the big fuss?

Jan - SL
Feb - SL
Mar - Asia Cup
Apr - T20 WC

These boys need some rest and time to practice. Nov/Dec is the perfect time.
I am not in favour of getting the associates or Zimbabwe to play against us, specially if we are to beat them in the WC preliminary matches. Lets unleash our secret weapons during the real matches.

Dont ever forget that Bangladesh used to be that Associate.

If Denmark, Scotland, the Netherlands or whoever says 'We'd like to play', then the answer should be 'Show up and we'll find a ground', or 'We're touring X. If you can get close, we'll play'.

After all, if Bangladesh is in Australia, and the Dutch side says 'Steve Waugh says if you're going to be there, then Bankstown are playing away in the last week of February', then do you say 'You're only a slimy associate, we're a Test playing side, f.ck off', or do you say 'We're in, four days at Bankstown Oval and we'll split the meat pies and the hot dogs'.

Momentum. We have a tendency to regress during long gaps. Both muscle and memory withers and atrophies. Make winning a habit.

Thanks Zunaid, that's one of the reasons we need continuous cricket. Payers will be in touch and not rusty at the start of the series which is very important
