Exactly. We only saw him bowl a few overs in BPL. Things are going to be completely different in the WC. Is he an improvement over Rubel? Ya probably. But I doubt that somehow makes our bowling line up that much better. I hope I am wrong.

They can replace one injured player with one other player, not two.

I meant Mashrafe is injured, so there is a chance he might be drafted in?

People are going Zia Zia... but Zia only had one good match with the batting ... thats in Asia Cup against Afghanistan.
Apart from that - I am sorry but what I have seen to date - he can't really bat. Bowling wise - he is ok/better than Razzak at least.

Agree But at least Zia's batting is Jodi Laigga Jai. If he clicks somehow, he will do some damage. Freza can't even do that.

I like Ziaur Rahman's bowling, very decent and I think he will do well.

I think coming at no.8 his job is just to slog! so lets hope it comes off.

Gazi can replace Ullah and I think we need Gazi seeing how well the SL off-spinner Sanyeannkaa.. is doing.

I disagree. Zia is our HULK..He can smash the ball like anything. He is a perfect all rounder for t20

Lol bro. Trust me, I want him to be our Hulk too. It's just that we should keep our expectations low, because when he doesn't click it comes off as very ugly. He had a horrid time with the bat not so long ago.

My suggestion to coach and team is to play a game of dodgeball during training and have 13 members of the squad try and hit Reza and Lalla with kookaburra balls. Replace them after claiming that they were (un)fortunately injured during net practice.

he cant bat against decent fast bowling.. i would have preferred taskin, he is a must for the 2015 WC, so this was a good opportunity for him to have some taste of big event, Zia is another village idiot, i dont have any hope for him..at least he is better then pant veza

Taskin's time will come. Too good a player to be ignored by a seamer-challenged side like ours.

he needs to get exposure to the higher levels though because he'll soon lose it playing in domestics and not develop at all.

Disappointed not to see Taskin but good luck to Zia. An economy rate below 8 and a quickfire 20 will be enough
