Default Three young cricketers off to Australia

Three young cricketers left for Australia on Thursday for a six-week long training at Adelaide Cricket Academy.

Middle order batsman Aftab Ahmed, pacer Sadat Hossain Rajib and wicketkeeper Dhiman Ghosh will join in the Academy as per the agreement between Bangladesh Cricket Board and Australia Cricket. Besides the cricketers, coach Nazmul Abedin Fahim was also accompanying them.

For the last few years BCB has sent several cricketers there for coaching.

Default great choice

the player selection is really good. one batsman who have potential. one youngster pacer whom the bd team can really use. this training could be the step shahadat need to be prepared for national team. and pilot has to retire some day. either selim or dhiman will take it over. i wish them good luck.

Thtas good enws for the BD team. With the likes of brett lee, gilespie, brakcen, mgrath produced from these academies in Australia, its only doing good to shahadat. He may well be a force to be reckoned with in the coming years.

Are you kiddin! Send any young spinner for advice to anyone but our very own Rafique, and you risk injury and insult from our prodigous spinner!
