His stats is fine. Let's see whether he can adjust the condition quickly. Don't think he is going to play against English.

Watch out Australia. Another cyclone is heading your way
On a serious note, if he can Kaedge his way to a 50 run partnership with Tamim, I will be happy.

I am not in favour of playing him in the next match. He will be jetlagged for the first 2 days and need to get adjusted to the weather and playing conditions as well. Maybe playing Mominul next match or 2 spinners wouldn't be the worst thing to do.

He won't play the next game for certain. Might have a chance vs Nz if if SS fail to contribute with the bat...

Why not retain the same eleven as today, and play a spinner in place of Anamul. I think abt time we can have a bit of faith in Shabbir and Nasir as 6 and 7.

Mashrafee seems to love to give the ball to part time spinners. Taijul should give much better value.

I don't think they will go with one batsman less. Despite today's performance, our batting remains more vulnerable. We have too many bowlers and bowlers will be hit in this kind of conditions. If the pitch condition favors spin, I'm sure they will reduce a pacer and take a spinner.

Now we have 3 pacers, Shak, Mullah, Nasir .. So six very good bowling options...that should be enough. So because of these all rounders we can afford to take extra batsman to cover our weakness in batting. Taking an extra bowler won't help much in comparison to an extra batsman..

Him as a replacement is fine, but he should not be in the playing 11 right away.

I think replacing injured Bijoy with Taijul should be the right move for the match against England.

No complain against his selection, but keep him on the bench for now. I think we found our best batting order in the last match. Replace Anam with Taijul. Only if Mash is out of play, I would consider an extra batsman (instead of bringing in Shafiul).

I was wondering if Musfique gets injured now (God forbid), then who will the wicketkeeper in this team ?

Imrul as replacement is a good choice if Anamul was only a top-order bat, but I thought Anamul was selected as batsman-cum-keeper. In that case Liton Kumar would have been a good choice as backup keeper-cum-batsman.

Don't know what he will do....but I think he will score some runs...he can hit ....also not a shaky like a anamul....I'm sure he will be trying his best to keep up with the situation......if he can score 35 or 40 with the 80 or 90 average strike...I will be happy with it....at least will give us confident start....which tamim, musy, sakib, nasir, mahmudullah sabbir will carry on.......best of luck kayes....

Imrul should only be given a chance if Bangladesh wins against England. Otherwise I don't see the point in trying a new batsman in an unfamiliar condition with so much at stake..

Also, does anyone know the status of Mashrafe's injury? It will be a big blow if he can't play against England.
