I hope Srini doesnt screw us up. Our recent performance might create some interest in India about the series. If we can beat them i am sure they will invite us to India. Easier said than done obviously

India re pitta dee te hobo balo tiki protishod nitey hobe for everything

Indian fans are making too much noises around many sites I've visited, going on about how Binnys fluke was the best thing since sliced bread! Need to jam that hype. Yes their A side(or whatever side they feel like calling it for their own personal satisfaction) won, fine, no one denying that. But understand this... BANGLADESH since 2014 has reached : World Cup QF Beating England, done well down under, humiliated Pakistan 3-0 bangla wash (India never whitewashed Pakistan in history!) beat them in t20 1-0, drawn test with one to go. THIS NEW BD is different and don't underestimate them.
What has Binny done since then? Has he taken any even 4fer or 3fer at international ODI level? Was he not benchwarming wc? seriously I thought Indian fans were better in terms of understand cricket situations but I guess I was wrong and now know trolls are born there naturally.

Good for India. Test first, ODIs later.
Actually no, Fatullah is batting pitch - more like Indian picthes, Mirpur is on the slower side.

I wouldnt get over confident Indian batters are not amateurs as Pakistanis. They wont make silly poor mistakes again and again, and whatever chances are given must hold on to them, They are much pro batters, we must bowl better and field well. I dont think they will send weakened team, its still some weeks after IPL ends, for test Dhoni is gone anyway so Kohli will lead, for ODI's might rest Dhoni only, I doubt other's will be rested. Even if they rest Dhoni, Kholi, Ashwin, they will still have a much better side than the Pakistan. So it will be much better challenge.

They should have scheduled the ODIs before the test match. A good ODI result against India B team would have inspired our players more to do well in the test match.

Anyway, lets keep our fingers crossed to do well in this series.

Why was the Test not played at Chittagong?

Oh well. We won't get as many points for drawing against India since they ranked so low. PAK had a much higher rating and drawing the series gets us 5 points.

India is Coming on 7th June for one Test and 3 ODIs

Confirmed

I don't think India will send their B team after Bangladesh's performance against Pakistan..

A series win against India Will certainly be more prestigious and will answer all our critics for sure. Some are still saying BD won because of a depleted Pakistani team.

Gotta win this series and we have what it takes to get the job done . And in shaAllah we will

India will probably rest a few. The players rested in this series will get their call up in the next series against Zimbabwe.

There are reserve days for the ODI's. Wish it was Odi followed by Test though, and a t20 would have been great experience for us, considering how much we can learn from India, with their abundance of t20 experience in IPL.

But Alhamdullilah. May we churn out another great performance insh'a'Allah. I hope we win this, and pak also wins 1 or so vs SL, so then we will know whether our recent performance was down to a significantly weak pak team, or we have really gone to the next level.

They sent their A team last time. I just hope they will send a full strength team for the Test. They will be foolish not too. Their full strenght attack is unlikely to take 20 wickets, especially in the rainy season. They are rankled 7th, wouldn't want to lose more points to us.

I think they did that in 2014 to try out new players before the Worldcup and also their team had a deluge of matches during that time and needed the rest..But this year they will be well rested ( 2 weeks after IPL) and only a tour of Zimbabwe coming after this tour; so no reason to rest the key players. Also, Bangladesh's recent performance against Pakistan will make them think otherwise about sending second string players..

Our players are playing test now, so they don't need to readjust if we are going for test first ... Then to ODIs, that's good for us
