Zim bowled out for 82 as AFG win their 6th out of the last 8 versus the Full Member.

AFG now ranked 10th and Zim fall to 12th.

When you consider the side they are putting up in the under 19's things don't look rosey, they should be made to qualify along with the Associates .Before Kenya fell they continually did not qualify for the under 19 world cup, they have missed 4/5 youth cups, that quality not coming through.
A lot of the underage white Zimbabwe players end up in English county 2nds,and have turned their back on Zimbabwe.

I see boards like Zim, Pak, WI and I feel so much better about BCB.... They handle it very well... Sad to see the end of Zim cricket. When u lose players like Jarvis, Taylor... There is not much that cans be done

Afghanistan won by 4 wickets (with 14 balls remaining)

That was a convincing win. Shahzad commanding unbeaten 131 tor steer his team to the second win in a row..

The only place we should be playing Zim anything, especially tests, should be at their venue.

I'd rather talk about Afghanistan's rise than Zimbabwe's ineptness, altho good to see Moor get a 50 he was playing county 2nds,and their was talk he could be lost Zimbabwe.

Probably right. When teams do that to us, they deprive us of a chance to develop our game. ZIM have no development to do...they have senior players in their 30s with 200 caps putting in the same performance they did as rookies 12 years ago.

So we are about to see power shift in cricket. Bangladesh slowly moving ahead of West Indies and Sri Lanka. And Afghanistan taking over from Zimbabwe.

My prediction during my power rankings was ZIM to fall to 12th by the end of the year. My prediction in 5 years is ZIM to be at the level of UAE ie 3-5th Associate level. Unless Taylor comes back after his 3 years are up at Notts and the kids who are in school in UK come back as well (Welch, Byrom, Curtis, Hopper).

True Al Farqaan, they have lost the Curran boys now, they won't go back to Zimb not on the money they are on.
Think Zimbabwe adverse to pick white players Moor is the first call up of a white player in a long long time, then he scored a 50.

Afghanistan still the best associate without any doubt. Followed by Scotland, Netherlands, UAE, Papua new gini and Nepal.

In t20s yes, in ODI's no.

Anyway, with this innings it seems the curse of the number 58 has been passed from Bangladesh to Afghanistan.
