Default Chances of not progressing to WT20 main round?

I think its safe to assume our ODI form is starting to translate into T20s. Remember pitches will be flatter in India. While our power hitting is still suspect, Shakib and Mushy won't be out of form forever. Soumya will eventually explode, amd Tamim will anchor the innings most times with occaisional explosions of his own. So even if Associate side has slog over firepower we might lack, they will have to contend with constant yorkers from Mustafiz and express pace of Taskin.

Current stint as Captain, Mash is the only BD captain not to lose any matches to Associates (experimental games vs Zimbabwe aside).

Hopefully Bangladesh can thrash Netherlands next Wednesday and get off to a flying start.

We saw what the Dutch did against England last time...

Lost ODI Warmup vs Ireland in the world cup (though that kick started our WC campaign)

We saw the scare scotland gave us in the World cup as well. There's always a chance, It only takes one player + luck

We will lose both the WU game due to resting key players as there r hardly any break between the AC final and qualifier. but should trash each and every team in the qualifier and maybe win 1/2 in the main event.

Edit: just realised there is no WU games and our first game is 3 days after the AC final

Hope boys fly out on Monday and prepare themselves for Dutch in couple of days they will have.

if we can adjust playing from mirpur pitch to dharmashala pitch in 3 days we wont lose any. The key will be adjustment to new conditions and pitch for our players

ah, Donnie, you gotta bring in the 58 into play. For Bangladeshis, it is scorned upon.

Exactly my thoughts. Toughest competitor would be the Dutch. Even newcomer Oman could scare ...

That would be a big thing. I wrote down the differences and time gap in between. One day is for journey (7th), 1 day for practice(?) and next day you're playing the toughest opponent of the group.

One thing that might be tough. Dhaka elevation 6 feet. Dharamsala 3000. I think it takes 2 weeks to fully acclimate. Expect our players to get winded and cramped easily.

Relax we lost to HK in 2014- (A year to forget) but its 2016 now we are in the asia cup final again and and we had the best year of our cricket in 2015, so far. This time we have Mustaf, Taskin, Soumya, Sabbir in prime form. We have too enough ability to ease of associates and make it to the main stages, InshAllah.

Out of all the possible cities and towns in India. The bcci had to base Bangladesh in Dharamshala, didn't they? Clear evident it's a ploy of the BCCI hoping BD get's knocked out.

If you can stop a good team from entering the main event, the chances of other good teams winning or progressing to one extra round increase.

I think BCCI knew what they were doing.

And I might have done the same thing.
